Deadzones no longer work in V2.08.8
I setup a new MCG Ultimate ( no twist) with a Gunfighter MKIII last night with the new black box. I couldn't get deadzones to work at all on the latest firmware v2.08.8 xt that is listed in the downloads section. (_BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_Ultimate_v2_08_8.vkb in my case) I tried a few of the old Firmwar...

Light spring for Kosmossima twist?
I brought this up a while back ( couldn't find the thread) but at the time there was no option of a light spring for the Kosmo twist.
I notice however in the MCG twist adapter kit, there is a light spring included. How can one order these light springs for the Kosmo handles?

Re: Kosmosima twist resistance
This video doesn't cover taking the twist mechanism apart. I took one apart the other night and it's fairly straight forward. Once you remove the twist section by removing the 2 locking bolts, you can see a magnet at the top of the mechanism. The magnet can be lifted up and removed ( carefully ) and...

Re: Kosmosima L/GF II Grip LEDs Turning Off
I am running v1.96B FW on the SCG. I can tell I'm in "External" by going too "Global>External>LEDs" and changing the color of the "External" event. If you're talking about the LED's on the grip itself. Try looking at the wires in the base and reseating all the connecto...

Re: Kosmosima twist resistance
I can source my own part, but it would be easier if I knew what the baseline part is in the device already. So I can search for something of the same size/type but less tension. A warning correction from the engineers: It is not just the external and internal diameter of the spring that matters. It...

Re: Kosmosima GF II Blue/Red grip LED's turn off and reset.
I believe I may have solved it I will keep testing. - Initially I reflashed the black box and reseated the wires in the base ( without disconnected the grip). The issue did not come back. - I suspected it may have been a bad fw flash, but I checked against my other black box which was not reflashed,...

Re: Kosmosima twist resistance
I've been through the picture route with your engineers, I'm good on that front. Let me clarify my previous post. I'm not claiming all 3 sticks are faulty, I just believe at this point it's the design of them, and the strength of the spring that was chosen after beta, keeps it a bit to firmly on the...

Re: Kosmosima twist resistance
Oh he's not alone. I opened a ticket for my original left handle I ordered and was told to basically wait until the grease breaks in. I have since purchased 2 other full kits, so I now own 2 left and 1 right handles. They all have the same problem. I'm actually on these forums today looking for a wa...

Re: Gunfighter MCG pro Primary Trigger 1st Stage Not Registering
So my first stage trigger failed again, even with the workaround cardboard. I tried to figure out how to unscrew this spring more, but it just slides over the button all the way. I had a look at the board, and the button looks deformed on the primary trigger. I'm waiting on VKB support at this point...

Re: Gunfighter MCG pro Primary Trigger 1st Stage Not Registering
I'm thinking doubling up the same spring to give it a bit of force. I logged a support ticket, but they only mentioned the 'unscrewing' of the spring a bit. This doesn't make sense to me. The spring seems to easily slide to the base of of the button, and simply slides over the post on the trigger on...

Re: Gunfighter MCG pro Primary Trigger 1st Stage Not Registering
So I've encountered the same issue. I've opened a support ticket, but I have not heard back yet on what the long term solution is. The spring shipped doesn't seem to be up to the task. I've used the workaround of 1) adding masking tape to the top/button edges of the board so it's held firmly. 2) Pla...
