Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

Ok, POV switch now registers in all directions, it seems to be working fine. Rot Z & Slider 1 also seem to be working as expected. The only issue is that Rot X and Rot Y move at different speeds depending on direction. Rot Y moves slow to the left, fast to the right. Rot X moves slower when I pr...

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

That certainly improved things. After calibration (yes, I put the master mode into axes mode), here is what I saw: The POV 1 hat switch will work in all directions except down and left. Video here, please note I am not moving the POV stick back to center, I'm am turning it in a circle just like I wo...

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

Yes, I always calibrate all the axes. I tried calibrating with the partial option checked and 3, 4, 5, 6, but the same results.

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

Here is what I did:

1. I edited zconfig.ini
zconfig.png

2. Start configurator, clicked "Default" button, here is Global-External-Phys.Axes tab before calibrating:
before calib.png

3. Calibrated all the axis. Here is Global-External-Phys.Axes after calibrating:

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

I have tried my F14 stick with this firmware and everything works as expected. I unplugged the orange box, put on the F14 stick, calibrated, and it just worked. So, my guess at this point is: 1. The software is bugged (either firmware or config software), but we know it works for some others. So, ma...

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

I have done that many times if you are talking about the default button. Here are some screenshots, hopefully this will help communicate it better what I just tried. Please let me know if I did something wrong. Thanks. 1. First, click on the Tools/Default button and see this: Annotation 2020-08-28 1...

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

ok, any pointers on how to fix it? I am calibrating all the axis, I don't know how to fix it otherwise. My previous message shows the results for a different firmware. Unless the calibration procedure has changed, I know I'm calibrating correctly.

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

I understand the software says that, however, I did calibrate using my usual process: click default, click start calibrate, move the following axis to their extents in this order: stick, master mode, gate cont, break lever, trigger, click end calibrate. Same process I've used probably 100 times with...

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

I'm not sure if you mean I did something wrong with the calibration or it is a software issue? Let me know if there is something I can do to fix it.

Thanks

Re: Multidevice NG firmware...

would the latest configurator be 0.91.38? I get the same results with that version. Here is where I get the firmware: http://alex-oz.strana.de/index.htm. Regarding reset, yes, I forgot to mention that I always reset before and after flashing. Using zbootloader v1.18 Attached image showing what versi...

Multidevice NG firmware...

Hi, I have a MCG Pro stick ( Gunfighter Mk.III, upgraded from Mk. II) with the orange black box. I'm trying to flash the firmware file _BlackBox_GF_MULTIDEVICE_v1_99_B NG.vkb (I've tried all versions starting with 99_0) using VKBDevCfg-C_v0.91.30.exe. The firmware loads with no errors but I have 3 i...

Re: Calibration after flashing v1.91F

I flashed 1.929, it has been about 30 minutes, I tried a quick dogfight in DCS and mapped the brake button. So far so good but a little more time will tell....

*Update* Still working....

Re: Calibration after flashing v1.91F

The lights came back on :( I did think it was working after setting ACITime to always, the buttons seemed to stay ok for a much longer time. I'm going back to version 1.91E as it seemed to work perfectly for me. Is there any information anywhere that lists what is fixed in each firmware update?
