I found this to be the X axis only and of the response curve for it, the 40% adjustment from 128 is at fault. All other adjustments seem to work fine.

Yep! Me too. Well I can tell you the software is VKBDevCfg-C. You can download it from the downloads tab on the VKB Home page. It isn't scripting, but a UI tool.
