Re: Warthog Grip Mk1 work with Mk2?

The changes they made between the Mk1 and Mk2 Gunfighters have to do with the physical connection between the base and grip. The Mk1 Gunfighters had 3 spring posts on top of the shaft the grip slips onto. The grips had a female version of the shaft with a corresponding 3 flat contacts inside. The Mk...

Re: SCG Premium Left & Right Firmware

Thanks for the firmware info! So what that means is it WILL work but not without some extra work on his part to make it happen. I'd say set up the pairs one way, default, calibrate, program stuff as you like and then save a profile of that. Swap grips, re-flash with the appropriate firmwares for eac...

Re: SCG Premium Left & Right Firmware

I don't have the SCG grip so I don't know if there is a left and right firmware. If there is--then yes, you'd have to re-flash when you swapped sides. That way the base knows what it has plugged into it. If not--a common firmware for left and right-- then I'd think not. As long as the correct firmwa...

Re: SCG Premium Left & Right Firmware

The firmwares are grip and base specific. If say you had a gunfighter base and SCG grip with the firmware for that pair and then switched the grip to an MCG-Pro you'd need to re-flash with the gunfighter/MCG-Pro firmware. And so on each time you might swap grips.

Re: How to Create Macros?

I'm guessing if you're seeing the macros tab you've added the user=developer line to the cfg file of VKBDevconfig? And you've selected the keyboard in the global tab? Otherwise it won't be able to "type". I'm not at my PC so bear with me. And it's been a while since I edited my macros but ...

Re: How to Flash NJoy32 FW

How do I flash new firmware to update the NJoy32 version? I notice you had two different firmwares listed in your macros post. Why is that? Are you trying to flash the black box separately? There's no reason for that. The black box is plugged into your pc. Whatever grip you have is plugged into the...

Re: Black box keeps blinking red

Don't have the pedals so can't speak to that. I know that my BB has a blue and green steady LED when everything is working right. I updated my FW and SW the other day but haven't updated my sig. Want to say it's now devconfig v90.03 and FW v1. 97A, flashed with bootloader v1. 15. This version of boo...

Re: How complex is the software?

Yeah VKBDevconfig allows you to create button settings for stuff I never even thought of! It CAN be complicated like that but only because the controller is capable of all these extra things most of us never had available in any stick before. But it doesn't have to be complicated if you're not looki...

Re: Gunfighter dry clutch question.

The dry clutch adjustment screws that are on the bottom are on the Rev A gunfighter. The ones accessible from the top are on Rev B. They improved accessibility where you only had to take off the dust cover vs the bottom plate. I made my own way around this problem when I made a custom bottom plate f...

Re: Black box keeps blinking red

That might clarify what I picked up on in those pics. I thought something looked different! I don't use the extension that's why I didn't recognize it. Still seems odd that would have anything to do with anything as it's just a tube with a wire connector in it. Not like there's any telemetry identif...

Hey I'm confused. Why do these look so different? I mean, clearly they're both female connections but the openings don't even look the same. Like they're on different grips.

Re: Black box keeps blinking red

We'll get you going bud! I know it sounds silly but when the program tells you the stick needs to be calibrated did you ever try maybe just doing a calibration first? If that's what it's asking for yaknow. Try going thru the calibration steps I laid out. Close out of config and restart it and see if...

Re: Black box keeps blinking red

Plus, please upload the pics: the base connector shaft so the pins are close up and seen clearly, well lit, and sharp the bottom of the grip so the contacts are seen I thought about the pins too but he probably has a Rev B and they're pretty well protected unlike my Rev A. If it ends up being a con...

Re: Black box keeps blinking red

Oh yes, I have all files VKB in 2 folders. One that I save downloads to and another "working" folder that has VKBDevconfig, bootloader, etc. The reason I advised as I did was that while config will close on clicking the bootloader button, the bootloader doesn't close after the flash is com...
