Re: Gladiator Pro X Axis jitter

Might be the connector for that axis is loose. Open up the base and give it a look. I know it's a new unit but that's something easy enough to check. Easier than dealing with sending it back and forth for sure!

FYI I had this problem too and that was all that was wrong.

Re: Gunfighter Pro Break-leaver not being detected (solved)

That would be a question for the VKB devs. If I were to guess, because of the modular nature of these sticks, there will be a firmware with the twist adapter support built in for those that have it on their sticks. And likely another version of VKBDevconfig that supports it as well. Hard to say how ...

Re: Gunfighter Pro Break-leaver not being detected (solved)

Glad you got rolling with it. I've had my stick a while now but I pretty sure it came initially with a kg12 firmware loaded to the gunfighter base which is why no brake lever. I had the same problem as you getting it set up initially and the pattern I'm seeing is this same "problem" poppin...

Re: Gunfighter Pro Break-leaver not being detected (solved)

Starting to see a pattern here having been through this myself! I'll throw in my 2 cents and try to help. OK this stick is definitely NOT easy mode! And it's not as plug and play as most others are. Consequently, as people are getting their new sticks are running into the same problems get...

Re: Gunfighter Pro Break-leaver not being detected (solved)

On initial run of devconfig, in the upper window, click on your device. The rest of the buttons should now show lit up. Next step is to click on default and then click set. The stick will restart. You HAVE to do this before you can do anything else. Now you MUST calibrate the stick. Once that's done...

Re: Can the Devs create some basic beginner Tutorial video?

Oh and while you CAN use macros for a single keystroke you don't have to. I was walking you thru the single keystroke method. And yeah the macro info is separate from the profile info. Saving on the macro tab saves any macro info to the stick. It makes use of that info in the profile which is lookin...

Re: Can the Devs create some basic beginner Tutorial video?

Ok I stumbled thru this problem where my intended macro was cut off like that. Turned out I'd misunderstood how they were constructed, separated and numbered. Let's say you want a macro to type DCS WORLD! Just like that. Just once with no repeats. On the macro tab start at row 1, column 1. Row 1is f...

Re: Can the Devs create some basic beginner Tutorial video?

Snacko, if I'm reading this right it looks like you're really close but have something out of sequence. Give this a try : It looks like you've figured out how to select a button and assign a keystroke to it. So far, so good. You need to press "set" NOW. This sends the new info to the stick...

Re: Sequence of operation in ZBootloader?

There is still such in the interface, it seems that the Z-bootloader hovered and did not respond and the running strip did not reach the end, but stopped somewhere in front of the FlashIt button. But after a while we will see the line Error = 0 and exit from Zbootloader. While we live with this, do...

I put the info in my sig. FYI I've had this "issue" all along regardless of various versions of softwares. In the end it DOES seem to update properly, it just seems like it trips over itself along the way.

Re: Dead BlackBox?

OK Ron, replugged usb ran devconfig and it now shows the device but no data in lower section. https://i.imgur.com/Gnwq4rt.jpg Box still dead... Up there where it shows the device. Click on that. Device info should then show up at the bottom. As you could have multiple devices connected it needs to ...

Sequence of operation in ZBootloader?

I've been updating the firmware and software for my stick since I've had it the first of the year. I've had some bumps in the road along the way but have found my way through all right. So I have a question about the sequence of operation when updating the firmware with ZBootloader. I was just wonde...

Re: Had to open MCG to tighten loose screws

I'm guessing you haven't been following this thread, haven't opened your stick to look yourself or aren't mechanically inclined. Not one person here has complained about the stick base working loose from the gimbal shaft. This isn't a question of the electrical connection. The shaft and base are all...

Re: Had to open MCG to tighten loose screws

Drano, after tightened the second time (with more force I presume), does it come loose again? I only got around to looking at it yesterday. The left /forward screw had become, let's say less than tight, where the other one remained tight. I took both out, applied a tiny dot of blue loctite and adde...
