Re: Can't get anything other than X and Y axis to work on GF + MCG Pro

Hopefully the version of VKBDevconfig you're using is compatible with the firmware you're using. To find out look at the top in VKBDevconfig where it shows it's version number. There will be a firmware number displayed there as well. What it means is THIS version of VKBDevconfig is compatible with T...

Re: Gunfighter Pro (Rev.A) - Jerky movement

Better to change to heavier springs if a heavier feel is what you're looking for. You can put a pair on each axis. Add a heavier spring or pair of heavier springs in steps until you get the effect you want. The dampers aren't made for that and over tightening them might not be a good idea.

Re: Gunfighter Mk1 x-axis really bad spiking

From what is shown on your screenie I'd guess the problem is with a wire that's come loose from the harness that goes from the gimbal to the circuit board. If we were back in the olden days that screenie would indicate a bad or dirty pot. These sensors won't do that. It's something mechanical. Take ...

Re: Red light on box is on.

This had also happened to me but only once. I don't know how long you've had the stick but I had this same thing happen to me when I was setting up my stick initially about a year ago. Same issue--looks as if the grip is disconnected when clearly it is connected! It's brand new too! Turned out what ...

Re: [BUG] POVs #2 forces But#1 to 100 always!

Not one that's been released into the wild yet I guess. I haven't looked in a while and I'm not at my PC to look. Just bookmark the link Ron posted and give it a look now and then. As you can see they update the FW and SW pretty often. FWIW I've found that sometimes a profile made with one pair of F...

Re: [BUG] POVs #2 forces But#1 to 100 always!

The FW number up in the title bar represents the highest FW that version of VKBDevconfig will work with. So the FW version you were using was one version higher. That may well have been the problem. I didn't know that either and noticed it a while back. I posted a pic too. I think it was Ron that to...

Hehe well that would do it too! No good if the game can't make use of it!

Re: Master Mode Hat - Axes not disabled when I am in POV mode. Axes moves!

Sorry to jack you thread, but I am having exactly the same issue. I am trying to use master mode for TDC in DCS AV8B, and the slew function of the TDC is uncontrollable. Also same issue trying to use gate for trim. GF PRo Reva MCG Pro firmware 1.94b VKB Dev config 0.83.96 (latest I can find) Andy a...

Re: Master Mode Hat - Axes not disabled when I am in POV mode. Axes moves!

How does the hat work after a default? Try defaulting the stick, do a recal and see if it works as it should without an edited profile. That might tend to rule out a defect. Might be some setting you've messed with. The software isn't the easiest to deal with! FWIW mine is switching back and forth a...

Re: Black box still flashing after attaching MCG to Gunfighter

Maybe worth looking at and easy enough to check. Open up the bottom of the base and check the wires between the 4-pin connector and the circuit board. Try taking the connectors apart and re-seating them. Don't pull them by the wires! Could be just another case of a loose connector inside the base ca...

Re: MCG Pro durability

I can see it, Ron. The problem is the screws that hold the socket assembly to the grip have come loose. Look closely at the gif and you can see the handle moving but not the socket. This was a problem with some of the Rev A grips and mine was one of those. The good news is the fix is fairly easy. It...

Re: Two #50 Springs

Just my opinion here. I'm a simple wrench turner, not an engineer. My years of experience dealing with broken mechanical things tells me this is a bad idea. Now officially the word is you can use a pair of 50s on each axis. Having had the GF gimbal apart a few times I gotta say, I just don't see tho...

Ahh. Good to know! I just never paid attention to it before and noticed after updating things the other day that the numbers didn't match. Making a note of it. Thanks.

Re: Please let me know how to fix it!

I don't think the gaps you're seeing in the lines in joytester are an indication of anything. It's probably just a drawing issue. Mine does that too. I have no corresponding issues in game that would indicate a problem. But just so I'm clear on what I'm seeing in your screen shot. Are you saying you...
