Hehe well that would do it too! No good if the game can't make use of it!

Re: Master Mode Hat - Axes not disabled when I am in POV mode. Axes moves!

Sorry to jack you thread, but I am having exactly the same issue. I am trying to use master mode for TDC in DCS AV8B, and the slew function of the TDC is uncontrollable. Also same issue trying to use gate for trim. GF PRo Reva MCG Pro firmware 1.94b VKB Dev config 0.83.96 (latest I can find) Andy a...

How does the hat work after a default? Try defaulting the stick, do a recal and see if it works as it should without an edited profile. That might tend to rule out a defect. Might be some setting you've messed with. The software isn't the easiest to deal with! FWIW mine is switching back and forth a...

Re: Black box still flashing after attaching MCG to Gunfighter

Maybe worth looking at and easy enough to check. Open up the bottom of the base and check the wires between the 4-pin connector and the circuit board. Try taking the connectors apart and re-seating them. Don't pull them by the wires! Could be just another case of a loose connector inside the base ca...

Re: MCG Pro durability

I can see it, Ron. The problem is the screws that hold the socket assembly to the grip have come loose. Look closely at the gif and you can see the handle moving but not the socket. This was a problem with some of the Rev A grips and mine was one of those. The good news is the fix is fairly easy. It...

Re: Two #50 Springs

Just my opinion here. I'm a simple wrench turner, not an engineer. My years of experience dealing with broken mechanical things tells me this is a bad idea. Now officially the word is you can use a pair of 50s on each axis. Having had the GF gimbal apart a few times I gotta say, I just don't see tho...

Re: FW version ot displaying right in Devconfig

Ahh. Good to know! I just never paid attention to it before and noticed after updating things the other day that the numbers didn't match. Making a note of it. Thanks.

Re: Please let me know how to fix it!

I don't think the gaps you're seeing in the lines in joytester are an indication of anything. It's probably just a drawing issue. Mine does that too. I have no corresponding issues in game that would indicate a problem. But just so I'm clear on what I'm seeing in your screen shot. Are you saying you...

Re: Flashed w/ latest firmware; solid red light

I have the same issue, just opened a trouble ticket. I thought the lights on the Black Box were to indicate whether or not everything is working properly, not to be customizable. Don't know how new you are to these sticks but make sure you followed this guide when flashing. Every step is important....

FW version ot displaying right in Devconfig

Just noticed it's inconsistent. Showing two versions. See pic. No biggie but might confuse some.

That would do it! Glad you got it straightened out. Had a feeling it was something that rhymed with this. Good for another 100k miles!

Re: Can I still use my old Profile/Config that I saved before I Flashed new Firmware?

First things first. You're gonna have to get your connectivity issue straightened out before you can get calibrated. As long as that's still going on, your calibration won't hold. That and the calibration isn't tied to the profile as far as I know. Don't be averse to calibrating. It only takes a sec...

Re: X Axis Spikes and sticks...

The biggest difference is that the sensors on this stick are not the pots we all grew up with! With pots you'd get glitchy stuff going on with them. With the digital contactless sensors there's none of that. Unlike with pots there are no "bad spots" in the sensor. It's all or nothing. You'...

Re: X Axis Spikes and sticks...

Sounds to me like a mechanical issue. Like one of the ribbon connectors is coming loose. Try looking at the connectors between the gimbal and circuit board in the base. Even if nothing obvious is going on try unplugging and plugging them and see if that clears it. If not I'd be thinking maybe a brok...
