Re: SCG Pro LED flashes white and twist axis goes to 100%

Looks like it's solved. TL;DR: when you're tightening the screw on the omnithrottle adapter, make sure you're pushing down firmly on the OTA to make sure there's good contact inside the socket between it and the base. I went through all the plugs inside the base and pushed them in but didn't feel an...

Re: SCG Pro LED flashes white and twist axis goes to 100%

Thanks! A few days ago I opened the Gunfighter base to adjust the dry clutch since the omnithrottle adapter gives you more leverage when moving the stick, so it's possible that I may have accidentally tugged at one of the cables inside and some plug needs to be re-seated. I'll go over all the intern...

[SOLVED] SCG Pro LED flashes white and twist axis goes to 100%

I've owned my SCG for many months now and it's been great, however recently I've been seeing some bad behavior and I'd like to know if it's a fault in the joystick or in my PC. Basically, I'll be flying in Star Citizen and I'll notice that the long blue LED turns white then goes back to blue. This w...

Re: Set axis to use only half its range

I've been using the same technique that rtrski metions (unchecking the Cn column for the axis) for months now for the analog space brake in Star Citizen, and it works great. It's on one of the analog thumbsticks on a Kosmosima, but it probably works on any analog axis. What it does is to report 0 is...

Re: Stronghold and StreamDeck XL

To answer my own question: it should easily fit. Fallout9's photo shows that the mount can take something about an inch thick, the lip extends out to an inch and a half and the back is five inches tall. The base of the streamdeck is three quarters of an inch thick, and it's four and a quarter inches...

Stronghold and StreamDeck XL

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy some stronghold mounts for my dual Kosmosima HOSAS and I was wondering which, if any, mounting accessory I should also get to hold in place a Stream Deck XL (the one with 32 buttons). For example, will the phone holder work?

Thanks!

Re: VKBDevCFG-C_v0.91.78.zip won't run

That's what it looks like when you double-click on an exe that's still inside a zip file. Windows extracts the entire zip file to a temp folder and then runs the exe from there. Not all apps support that, it is quite frankly just a clever hack on the part of Microsoft. It's in general not a good ide...

SCG Pro analog space brake for Star Citizen

Star Citizen recently added the ability to have an analog axis as a space brake (it fires thrusters to counter your current motion). I have a Kosmosima Pro, and it occurred to me that it would be good to use the A1 thumbstick as an analog brake, so I can feather the ship's speed with my thumb, as if...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD

Oh mama. This is going to be totally worth the wait. Swappable grips, software defined detents, choice between arc and linear, pluggable modules, and a sane pricetag. Congrats to the VKB design team, you guys are amazing. Last but not least, condolences for your lost friends and family. Hang in ther...

Re: Dust cover bag for Gunfighter?

To answer my own question, I just bought the ones linked below and they work pretty great. They're shoe bags as suggested by Tuesday John, made of good thick material and have a drawstring so I can also use them to store the grips if/when I buy different ones. The pack has four bags in it and it cos...

Dust cover bag for Gunfighter? [ANSWERED]

Hi all, This post is about a cloth bag to fit over a joystick when it's not in use, not about the circular rubber accordion thingy that protects the base of the Gunfighter from dust getting inside. My question is, VKB doesn't seem to sell those, so can anyone recommend a third party one that would f...

Re: Gunfighter NXT?

Sure, but not all modules need to have a bunch of analog axes. I would be more than happy to have a bunch of buttons and mouse wheels to complement my HOSAS layout, basically the TECS minus the throttle axes.

Gunfighter NXT?

I just read about the Gladiator NXT system, and it seems like a great idea... instead of trying to make a one size fits all joystick/HOTAS/whatever, sell a bunch of different modules people can plug into each other and make what they need. I have a question though: I am a (very happy) Gunfighter Mk....

Gunfighter Mk.III quickstart guide?

My GF Mk.III is due to arrive very soon, so I checked in the downloads section to see if the new quickstart guide is up yet. Unfortunately it seems not to be the case - the current PDF is for the Mk.II. Are the two bases similar enough that I can just figure out the differences for how to loosen the...
