Re: How to Create Macros?

Thanks, but I still can't get the macro to even be bindable in game. I'm not sure you understand how macros work. You bind a single control input to some function in your game. E.g. trigger button 1 is fire guns, secondary trigger 2 is fire missiles. for the macro you want to program a series of co...

Re: joystick and rudder pedals

At VKBdev.cfg run as administrator boot loader tab dose not respond. Shows enumeration error 1 there should be a text line at the top of the screen with a name for a detected grip and a base. Make sure that is highlighted before you attempt to hit the bootloader button. Example image from another t...

Re: Kosmo pinky mod question

I removed the pre-installed lower handrest lift for a little while, to see if I liked the pinky button access more without it present. Decided it didn't make a difference to me and put it back on. (I'm the weirdo using the LH Kosmo in a more "lateral" mount orientation as a relative-axis t...

Re: Why are there 2 Button #23 in the Default?

Thanks. I thought that would be very helpful. So, I set my button back to 13. So there are two buttons assigned to 13. And then I Set the profile to the Joystick.. But the Device Report did not report the error. VKB DeviceRpt.png The Physical layer is which actual input to the microcontroller gets ...

Re: Was their a design revision for Kosmosima between the tester version and consumer?

I went ahead and swapped the mini joystick out for the 4 way hat on my right Kosmosima and noticed that I didn't have any springs under the hat boards as seen here: https://youtu.be/1PyCRQAMVuQ?t=166 I checked my left grip and it didn't have springs installed either. I haven't had a chance to use t...

Re: Button recognized when assigned, but not recognized in game!?

I think I've had that problem in Elite as well. Some control assignments to the same button can coexist, some cannot... and only some of the latter do you get warnings about. The logic that checks for duplication isn't ideal between control modes (interface, camera, maps, flight...) I've had overlap...

Re: Solid Red Light on Blackbox

in his defense I've played around with the LED settings myself on my own stick. It seems like half the time a new row wouldn't let me program like the LED was RGB. I'd keep playing around with the different entries on the row and resetting them and eventually could get it to start taking values ther...

Re: Kosmosima twist resistance

Disclaimer: I like the way twist works on my LH Kosmo, but I'm using it as a 'relative' axis (x4, square profile even). I also have not attempted disassembly of the twist to see how the little bump is designed, that you have to lift off of as you twist either way. (Or it's the other way around and o...

Re: Kosmo pinky mod question

Ensure it has correct orientation (fits in the grooves) Was that to me? I was just out of giggles attempting to push in (gently!) the taller button part that came in a bag labeled "D1" into the pinky button hole, just to have a higher button. But from the shape of the base, and the diamet...

Re: Kosmo pinky mod question

... seems that this little piece of PCB, holding the button, is glued to the support as Jaseworthing wasn't able to pull it off. So, I either have to find a solvant to disolve the glue, as Jaseworthing suggested to me (Maybe VKB know this answer ?), or i have to think to something else. I may also ...

Re: SCG Configuration Questions

Big LED is for whatever you want it to be for, but to enable access to programming it in the software you need to add "User=Developer" to your Zconfig.ini file. I thought I might have mine show whether the analog hat is in analog mode or digital 8-way mode, perhaps [EDIT - that's what the ...

Re: Kosmosima Discussion

I just got mine. Interestingly enough for me the thumb rest hat is a little too far back for perfection, but the pinky button seems perfect. If I exchange it for one of these more raised options it will be even better. I don't think I have particularly large hands but my fingers look like I should b...

Re: Missing Screws - Gunfighter MK2 Tabletop

Just as an FYI mine were in the bag with the spare springs and alternate cams. There was a lot in there so they were a little tough to see and to get to without dumping the bag everywhere.

Re: Funky X-Axis Behaviour

Is that a wire twist tie wrapped around the connection point?? Are you sure that's not getting in the way of the gimbal action?
