Re: Gunfighter Mk.III 'Space Combat Edition' z axis decalibrating often
This might be totally unrelated, I wonder if the "dirty" magnet had a little magnetizable metal dust on it, that was throwing off the sensor. My first Gunfighter gimbal (MK II) was bought a long time ago with the first production run of the Modern Combat Grip Pro (no longer available, they...

Re: "Omni Throttle"/angled adapter
That's only shown on a GNXT though. We're all speculating about it coming for Gunfighter too. Which makes sense, I think....but isn't what's pictured there unless I miss-viewed it.

Re: "Omni Throttle"/angled adapter
No question, if VKB offer an official one instead of home-designed ones, it's gonna be well thought out because that's in their DNA. ;) They'll make sure that the grip return to center is the same as for the normal grip orientation, I bet. I can't see how simply taking a gimbal and "rotating it...

Re: "Omni Throttle"/angled adapter
Not sure what you mean. I've got the left hand angled grip aligned so that my elbow is on an armrest, and if I just relax I'm not moving it but still have good access to all the controls. My leftforearm actually feels a little more 'relaxed' than my right forearm does loosely gripping (MCG Ultimate)...

Re: "Omni Throttle"/angled adapter
I ain't VKB and have no right to answer you for them. That said, I have to believe something that's essentially just a HARD CABLE (extension with pins either end), if offered for the lower priced NXT line, would also be offered for Gunfighter. Not all at the same time probably though. So you might b...

Re: Gunfighter MKIII MCG (latest rev) Axis Questions 09.21.21
Still crossing my fingers for a left hand Kosmosima Premium Ultimate vs. LH MCG-U.
I keep meaning to pull the rubber pad from my MCG-U and attempt my own leather formed cover instead. Currently thinking black ray skin with the sanded dentil knobs would be awesome...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
Pure hyperbole. They've fleshed out most of what to expect on the first 3 variants although not shown them 100% [test harness body only], and still have teasered that there's some other tricks up their sleeves. Otherwise if you don't care when it's coming...what else would you want that would be hel...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
Don't even bother asking. For years we've asked this question and never gotten a straight answer. You just get a bunch of guys fanboying a company saying that not answering the most basic of questions of the general idea of when to expect the product to be released, is not only okay, but desirable,...

Re: Mounting Hole Dimensions for Blackbox MK2
@UIV Are the dimensions for the Blackbox MK2 mounting holes available somewhere? I have not found them in the documentation available, and have not been able to measure them accurately enough to fabricate a mounting plate. Customer Support referred me to the forums, apologies if this is not the cor...

Re: Button Template for the MCGU?
Do they have the same button layout? I'm not quite sure what you were asking here....the physical layout is the same in the hand, MCG-Pro to MCG-Ultimate (unless you swap out one or more controls on the Ultimate, of course). But the "logical button numbers" might not be. I originally made...

Re: VKB Mount + GFIII
So I've just received my packages and putting together the table mount and following the video. It shows the bulk of the GF3 base going underneath the mounting plate. If I do this the bottom of the GF3 base is exposed. Should I seek a solution to cover this or is dust and debris not an issue? Thank...

That's also why I get Cyrillic markings if I can...because despite trying to learn once, after 30+ years I really can't read them. So I can immerse myself into pretending they say anything . ...a hobby project for some talented engineers To me, this translates to a dream job I WISH I had. But it's also unfair. Outside of a few extremely dedicated (one might say obsessive) individuals, most "hobbies" don't scale to production, inventory, and multi-version configuration managem...

Re: VKB Gunfighter MK II B - Base dimension query
Found it. Hope layer names are self-explanatory, one of them is the circle describing the main portion of the base housing itself. In the end I did not put that little flat chamfer on the 'front' edge of the circle vs. the earlier image in this thread. This baseplate still works perfectly for the Gu...
