Re: VKB Device Config - Helicopter style Trim
To use Rate when resetting your trim, change the trim mode to Rate, as shown in the picure. And play with the trim time to adjust the rate. 2.JPG I don't think I understand what you mean in regards to the centering. If you've trimmed your axes, returned the stick to center and then release the trim ...

Re: VKB Device Config - Helicopter style Trim
Hi, I'm not infront on my gaming system so I'm working off of memory. Fist off you have two buttons set as FA0 - none of these reset the trim to zero. They will both trim axis 1 & 2. You need to add a Trimmer Reset button - TrRst for axis 1 & 2. Check page 88 on the manual: https://vkbcontro...

Re: VKB Device Config - Helicopter style Trim
This is strange. When set my stick to default and only add a FA0 button and set "Trimmer +" to axis 1 & 2. I get the expected behavior.
When kind of button is your #35?
If, for example, this is a Tempo-button we would see what you are experiencing.

Re: VKB Device Config - Helicopter style Trim
I'm not seeing that behavior, so it could be something in how you have configured it that causes that jump.

Re: VKB Device Config - Helicopter style Trim
You can just hold in your chosen trimmer button, return to center and then release the trimmer at your own leisure.

Re: Mappings changing automatically when using boolean operations
So what you can do is use an interim button that don't provide a DX-button to windows. In my example that is button L51 I've also set L121 to NF. We use P51 for the hook to our tempo button, which I sat as P81. And P81 it set up towards L52 and L53 for the tempo swithes. This setup gives DX4 as defa...

Re: Mappings changing automatically when using boolean operations
It won't work. When you set button 51 for the tempo switch, you are changing what you did in your first step to that same button. You might be able to do what you want with an other boolean function. Or just use an other pair of buttons altogether. What is your end-goal? There might be another solut...

Re: Mappings changing automatically when using boolean operations
I think you're doing this a bit more complicated than needed. What I just did is this as an example, the buttons are not the same as yours though: I use B15 for the button in question and set it up with Shift1 to L51. Screenshot 2022-03-24 154430.png I set the boolean up like this: Screenshot 2022-0...

Re: Mappings changing automatically when using boolean operations
I'm not quite sure what your are trying to do. But Instead of using the operator 2 OR, have you just tried using the operator NOT with L51 > P51? That's how I do it with similar cases and that works well for me.

Re: Unable to use folding trigger as Shift?
You can use a boolean function to forward the virtual button from the folding trigger to a physical button so that you can use it for Shift. To do this you should be on a fairly recent version of both the software and the firmware, not bleeding edge, but not several years old. I'm working off memory...
