Worked great. Much of the bolts, nuts, washers, etc. Can be had at the hardware store if you lose or strip one.
The M3 screw I got was blackened steel instead of stainless and it didn't protrude past the board like in the first picture in this thread

Re: Gunfighter 1 is now UPGRADEABLE to Gunfighter 3!!
Mine didn't either. It's an M3 (metric 3mm) set screw. I got the longest I could find in that size at my local hardware store (was about 3/8-1/2" long

Re: Gunfighter 1 is now UPGRADEABLE to Gunfighter 3!!
OK, what I ended up doing is using the old top plate of the gimbal housing with the new dust cover and the new bolts. The new dust cover also covers the holes from the the previous cover used. So that works. I tried removing the rubber strap holding the grip cables to the grip post but it's still to...

Yes, that makes sense. Did you get the dust cover as well or just the electronic upgrade?

Re: Gunfighter 1 is now UPGRADEABLE to Gunfighter 3!!
OK, I got my Mk1 to Mk3 upgrade parts and it hasn't been as smooth. The grip cable cluster is too short to plug into the new board when mounted like the picture above and the board is also knocking against the new dust cover plate above it. Is this going to take some wire extensions and aluminum gri...

Re: Kosmo pinky mod question
I don't know guys, I just attached a sticky dot to raise the height of the button a bit and it works totally brilliant. No effort to push and I use it quite regularly with my control setup.

Re: is the kosmosima supposed to feel like this?
glaukos, what you're experiencing is due to the shape of the cams. These are progressive cams where the further you deflect the stick, the firmer the resistant gets. Its in the design of the cams. The GF was initially produced with their WWII stick and I assume because of that, the cams were made th...

Re: Kosmosima GF II Blue/Red grip LED's turn off and reset.
EDIT: Actually, you know what I suspect? I bet it was the grip not being fully seated on the base that was causing a brief disconnect or something. I opened up the gimbal and reseated all the connectors as well as disconnected and reconnected the grip and I noticed I could see just a bit of the alum...

Re: Kosmosima Discussion
"Discussion about pinky button" Now that I have my Kosmosima in hand, I can see what you're talking about. What I'm going to do is find an adhesive backed rubber bump and stick it to that button so it protrudes a bit more. That will make it easier for me to depress. The rest of the grip i...

Re: Ordering a VKB Stick and Base?
In my experience, items can run out in hours. But the Kosmosima grips have been In Stock on the NA dealers website for over a week now! So that's an improvement. I know lots of people are waiting on the Kosmosima Grip+Base combo though (including myself), so it remains to be seen how that will go.

Re: Linear Deflection Cams?
I'll just chime in saying using #10 springs with the current #10 soft cams wont be nearly as effective as using linear cams like you mention above. I'm also hoping they come out with these cams as I'll not only be using them on a future Kosmosima but will retrofit my current Gunfighter with MCG Pro

Re: Question about SCG grip
Right, I see where I may have confused you, when I said The Upgrade kit Lite is needed to make it compatible for the Non-Pro Gunfighter. I meant Non-Pro Gladiator  I get those two words confused too often. When I say blah blah...they're just saying works for flight sims.... blah blah I do inde...

Re: Question about SCG grip
Sounds like the SCG is not compatible with non-pro Gladiators. The Upgrade kit Lite is needed to make it compatible for the Non-Pro Gunfighter. I haven't heard anything about the availability of the upgrade kit though, that's another thing to consider. One would hope they produce it to sell in the s...

Yes, you're correct. I was entirely mistaken in that regard, something I finally realized when they announced the release date of the SCG and provided ample photos
