Re: Gunfighter vs Gladiator Pro
You also need to consider that the Gladiators have many more controls (buttons, dials, switches) than the Gunfighter. The Gunfighter has no controls on the base, only on the stick. That makes it more suitable for simpit or mounted use, but if you're only going to use it on the tabletop you might wan...

When people mention "sliders", I picture a single-axis stick with no return spring (like a linear-motion potentiometer). SC should just see it as an extra analog axis, shouldn't it?

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots
If we're assuming that both grips will have the same variety of controls, just in different layouts, and that the twist module can be added to either grip independently, then I could certainly live with the space grip being left-only and the military grip right-only, and that's the way I voted. Idea...

That's perfect. Thank you so much! I'll definitely be placing an order soon then...

Is there someone who can answer technical questions about the Gunfighter Pro?
I have a couple of questions... I'm trying to decide if the Gunfighter Pro will work for my needs. First of all, the extension can be removed, correct? The Pro can be used with the grip directly attached to the base? I'm assuming so, since it uses the modular grip connector. Second, how is the exten...

Re: US/Canada Customers: Who wants a VKB Gunfighter?
I want one, but I'm holding out until I see what the upcoming grips look like. I'll spend a ridiculous amount of money if someone makes a controller that has everything - no, not even everything - most of what I want. But I can't justify spending Gunfighter Pro prices (twice!) on the promise of futu...

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots
For me the optimal design would be a D-handle with the axis in the center: like so D---(| The push/pull would have a slight detent and no return to center force. Twist might be useful but I'd rather separate translation and direction controls. I completely agree about the handle. I understand wanti...

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots
Another dream would be to have the left hand translation control as a horizontally mounted handle like the apollo TC http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/zz85/winchellchung/translationalHandController.jpg but with buttons and hats on the handle of course. I built a prototype TC based on the NASA conc...
