Re: Gunfighter IV Upgrade Kit
I'm sitting on broken GF II electronics since my PCB connector inside the base went loose and I had to do a 2 days routine of opening the base and tightening the PCB connector inside so I was overly enthusiastic to fix the loose PCB connector and broke it. Even though it is me who broke the PCB tryi...

Re: Gunfighter and MCG Stick communication error level
Alright good to know that it's fixed.
But it is weired that it wasn't mentioned in this whole thread that the upgrade is the intendent fix for this problem we would need to pay for.

Gunfighter extension suggestion
Normal seats do stress our back a lot. As theres very little Seats that are actually short on the legs or do have a cut out, a extentions like this would help very much to keep our back straight while flying. Please consider doing a extension similar to this but reaches further into the seat, withou...

Re: Gunfighter and MCG Stick communication error level
Investigating more into it I noticed that those aluminium wires, rotated to build one string are stiff enough to push and pull on the plug leading to wiggeling it out throughout the usage. Maybe you can improve the stiffines of your wires and improve on plugs or the positioning of the plug so this c...

Re: Gunfighter and MCG Stick communication error level
I once again tried to fly after a week or so and within 20 min that issue appeared again. I opened it up, only touched the white connector, pushed it in and the jittering issue is gone. Definitely not the wires broken, either the plastic connector cannot withsand the joystic movement or it is just s...

Re: Gunfighter and MCG Stick communication error level
Communication errors still appear (very juddery center axis) and I've found the root of it. It is this plug that gets loose lately very often and I don't know how I can prevent it to do so. It is not really visibly getting loose, probably just less than 0.5 mm I have to press down on it and it tempo...

Gunfighter and MCG Stick communication error level
Alright, I have read the latest manual now, and didn't know I had to add lines to the zconfig.ini to have control to all LED settings.
Feedback: Maybe without being "developer" in the .ini file, as default user, LED settings shouldn't be overwritten to something else.

Re: Gunfighter and MCG Stick communication error level
Thanks for the link, I already recently updated to 1.95B and that was the latest for Gunfighter MCG on the europe support page link: http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Firmware/ to check before I posted. I didnt want to risk anything else than the one that would say for MCG. The europe page seems to be outdated...

Re: Gunfighter and MCG Stick communication error level
Aright, I fixed the communication errors by tightening up the 4 pin connector on the gimbal side. (not the case side) It didn't look like it was loose, but the whole female and male connector is not very stable, probably only a matter of time until it goes loose again. However the LED not being lit ...

Gunfighter and MCG Stick communication error level
Since some time I experienced some issues with the stick and base not responding partially or fully. I cleaned contacts and made sure everything is tight again. It seemed to work better, but then again some issues. After that I checked the communications between bb and the base/stick and noticed it ...

You say after calibration the center of the full range is being used, but windows doesn't want to play that way once the device gets restartet...

Windows Self Centering on device recognition.
Every joystick seems to center itself once it get recognized with windows. Now the problem is, after doing calibration on the VKB device confic, the device gets restartet and windows sets the center to its current leaning position. Every single time it gets re centered. I don't know how I can tell w...

Re: Gunfighter MCG is on the way to EU
Is there a way to get the KG 12 Grip included? I already paid, but paying twice shipping makes it expensive.
EDIT: Nevermind, already shipped.

Re: Force Feedback
About sensors, their tech seems combine both ffb and position reading at the same time, I asked them about precision and that was what he told me. As for precision, the current prototypes are vastly higher resolution than anything on the market today. The reason for that is to be able to actually mo...

Force Feedback
I recently discovered IrisDynamics Ltd. wich are creating a new kind of force feedback joysticks. https://vs4.irisdynamics.com/magnetic-force-feedback-joysticks/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1BKkZs3DvA They got a simple stick working as far as I can see, but I think their first Grip wouldn't be ...
