Re: US/Canada Customers: Who wants a VKB Gunfighter?

Haven't heard any to the contrary, so yes. Just yesterday hat a chat with VKB HQ on that topic. :) Do we have a time frame on preorders yet? Or still just "February"? Also, is this going to be something with very limited preorder slots? Or will there be enough for everyone that's requeste...

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

The cheaper idea doesn't seem to work here, though, as an exact mirror still requires extensive (and expensive tooling)... From this and the original post, it sounds like VKB are trying to decide if it's possible to save money on tooling by not making mirrored grips and doing one of each. Honestly,...

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

I'll start us off. Mirrored grips are preferable, and I'd say a few features are important such as hats/triggers/buttons. Having more options reachable on the stick is less time spent with hands off the stick. I could easily do a couple hats, a full motion thumbstick for gimbals, pinky trigger, regu...

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots

I think I'd be doing a drastic disservice to everyone if I did not voice my concern with the opinions & poll results here. Renegade Squadron and 11th Hour, the two top PvP organizations heavily rely on twist, whether it's in the right or left hand. It's one of the reasons we downright slaughter...

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots

I'm still voting that twist be a separate adapter that can installed between the grip and base. Makes both parties happy.

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots

Have you had an opportunity to use a stick with twist for any extended period of time? Something like the T16k takes a very concerted effort to actually twist. I have tried a couple, though nothing new or high end. I know I can unmap twist as an input, but my concern was that if I twisted my hand b...

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots

Pedals and dual stick with no twist. I'll be mapping pitch and roll to the right stick. Side strafe, forward, and reverse to the left stick. Yaw and up to on other command set to the pedals. Possibly a vertical strafe for z axis movement. These are controls I'm comfortable with and feel natural to m...

Re: Questions and Answers

Here's a vote against twist on the space SIM grip. I want the highest accuracy and do not want to worry about subtle twists in the stick throwing off my precision using the stick. Unless there is there a a solid, quality feeling locking mechanism, I'd pay extra to NOT have a twist function. If peopl...

Re: US/Canada Customers: Who wants a VKB Gunfighter?

Signed up just to vote on this. I'm wanting to purchase dual sticks. I don't need the extensions, so if that's the only difference between the two, I'll choose the table top version. But if the Pro is functionally better, I'll be going with the Pro's.
