Re: Use possibilities of Gunfighter with SCG

I had hoped to do something like that. Should be possible. Say if you were using a gunfighter for strafe forward and back on the y axis and strafe left and right on the x axis. When I had mine I was unable to get the stick to stay in location when release with the dry clutch tightened. Yet they coul...

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right. (Refund bounced)

Oh, completely unrelated suggestion:

You might want to consider a future blackbox with two joystick inputs.
This would be of interest to the hard core dual stick space sim players. Especially in games like Star Citizen where it doesn't handle multiple imput devices as well as it should.

Re: Gunfighter Y-Axis imbalance?

Have you tried adjusting the dry clutches?

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

Thank you for the clarification.

Guess that means VKB products are not for me. Having something so visibility that far off just rubs me the wrong way.

Much appreciated.

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

Glad to see you were able to calibrate it.

I see you don't mention anything at all about it being crooked. Did you fix that too?

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

I am contacting rrohde and requesting a full refund.

It is clear that this product is defective with hardware and software issues.

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

I'm not completely sure what you are asking.

I unplug stick, pull to the left, release. Plug in USB and test:

I unplug stick. I use a stack of coins to keep it slightly left of its natural resting point. I plug in stick and test:

Please explain how the Blackbox would cause the gimble & stick to physically lean right?

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

Also, why did you put the X axis clutch nut under the wire connection?

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

I had boxed up the stick to send it back. I have the same issues with the program even when running in admin mode. I removed the nuts & washers on both dry clutches. I even removed the bolt on the X axis side. This was rather hard due to how they tend to spin freely. I found in testing now it is...

I don't understand how a calibration issue could cause the stick to physically sit right of center and tend to return to right of center. Please explain.

Unfortunately, due to this center issue the Gunfighter is not the right flight stick for me.

I can widen the dead zone in some games but I am unable to do that in every game I play.
I do not know how to use VKBdevCfg. I'm not finding much by way of instructions for it.

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

Thanks, 1. I have not calibrated in windows. VKB might want to put a note about that with the Gunfighter in the box, the little quick start guide does not mention that at all. Also it does not mention about how the dry clutches are tightened for shipping. 2. I get a bunch of errors when I try to run...

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

It isn't that it only happens when moving right to left. The gimble/stick naturally rests to the right.
It is only when releasing it from the left that it will return to center.

Re: Is this normal? Gunfighter leaning right.

Upon closer inspection I believe that the section that pivots forwards and backwards is canted in the gimble.
