Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
That is nice to hear. Would you be able to at least let us know if there have been any significant changes to the design from the reference photos posted above in the 1st post? In particular, if there are any additions/changes in the number of hats/btns/etc. I understand that delivery is still quite...

Re: MCG loose base
I know this is an old thread. But I thought I'd quickly add my 2¢ and mention that my stick (one of the early MCGs) had exactly the same issue. Of the 2 screws that hold the metal base in place, one had completely fallen out and was rattling around inside the stick. The other was about 1/2 way loose...

Re: Tempo Function Not Working [Resolved]
Most likely, the buttons are assigned to existing and occupied boxes (already assigned as simple buttons). This is the reason. Ok, after much trial and error, I finally got it figured out! It had nothing to do with incorrectly configuring the TEMPO command or using a button in a occupied space. It ...

Re: Tempo Function Not Working
Let's see the video , of course, with its buttons cells. To invoke a virtual layer, double click with the left button. Hint - green - free, red - busy. Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Good of you point out how to check for free buttons but I'm already aware of how to do that. Butto...

Re: Tempo Function Not Working
Thanks for the reply. I reset to default as you suggested and ONLY changed Line#7/Reg#2 (Btn 15), the "Red Pickle Btn" to TEMPO and took the default virtual button Tempo assignments [15][16]. Neither the short or long press worked. The problem is exactly the same as I described in my earli...

Re: Tempo Function Not Working
Thank you for your reply but your suggestions did not help with my issue: I am using current versions to the best of my knowledge. Are there newer versions available that I am unaware of? If so, please link. The ones I'm using are the latest available I could find: Versions.gif I did try a Zip file ...

Tempo Function Not Working [Resolved]
I can't get the TEMPO (Short/Long Press) function to work and believe there may be a bug where the assigned buttons either don't trigger at all, or trigger incorrectly. I have a Gunfighter Mk.II + MGCPro Rev.B using VKB Device Config v0.83.96 (NJoy firmware v1.91). I was unable to attach the Device ...

Re: TECS – removing the cover
Thanks for the early render. Very interesting.
Might we be able to see a render from the front so we can see the controls on the forward side of the throttle levers? I looks like there might be rotary control next to the pinky button on the outer lever but I can't see much else.
Thank you.

VKBDevCfg Custom Toe Brake Help Needed
I'm just received my GF Mk.2 + MCG Pro and have my T-Rudder Mk.4 plugged into the same Blackbox. I have setup two virtual axis - Slider 1 (Left) and Slider 2 (Right) - for the virtual toe brakes. VKB1.gif The basic idea is that with the pedals centered, each slider get's the same value as the brake ...

Re: Throttle Design Considerations
Echoes a lot of the same ideas in this earlier thread that you also created. http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2757 The only real responses we've received indicate that there are 'several' design paths (e.g. the 3 design placeholders shown on the US VKBcontroller site) and that they...

Re: Throttle Design Considerations
Thumbsticks are important for quite a few people - especially in space games. I'm personally waiting for VKB's throttle to use in Elite:dangerous and no stick would leave me with my TM:TWCS. The ratio throttle sounds nice, but it has to be supported in sims which is a problem. VKB can break as much...

Throttle Design Considerations
I have a few thoughts about throttle design that I thought I would pass along in hopes that the VKB design team might take them into consideration for the upcoming models. Have 3 buttons on the outer part of the handle. One each for the pinky, ring and middle fingers. Why? Modifiers are very importa...

Re: Timeframe for new throttles?
For now I can tell you that the throttle is planned for next year. We're on it. Thanks for the info. Even that time-frame is helpful. I will definitely keep an eye on things and am strongly favoring VKB at this point as I've been very pleased with my T.Rudder Mk.IVs that currently complement my CH ...

Timeframe for new throttles?
I'm very interested in the MCG-Pro/Gunfighter stick but before committing to a VKB HOTAS, I want to see what the matching throttles (M-TCS/S-TCS/V-TCS) are going to be like. I'd prefer to stay consistent and either get my HOTAS from VKB or VIRPIL and while the sticks from both manufacturers and quit...
