Re: Confused about upgrade path
If you buy a brand new GFIV base you won't need the base upgrade. The base upgrade, when it will be made available, will just allow the user to keep some of the base's original parts (MKI/II/III), like the case, dust cover, cams etc in order to upgrade to GFIV. Quite honestly, the only thing I need...

Re: Build Your Own Flight Control System with GNX Modular Product Line
Is it possible to mount it on the Stronghold ? I mean, is the fastener holes anywhere close enough to be compatible? Also I think it would be better if there is more detail on which input on each module counts as an axis to save everyone the guess work when it comes to how many USB HID controller th...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
Highly doubt it can share a black box, the MCG alone have enough input taken up most of the allowable mapping, while the T rudder just a single axis so it can plug into black box no problem, not for a fully integrated Throttle.

Re: Throttle Design Considerations
My major counter argument for the "single axis-balance modifier" idea is that it breaks realism, Throttle design goes way back and it is how most twin engine cockpit were designed, this is not a "joystick" industry design trend, this is "the aerospace industry design standar...

Re: Rudder pedals
When seeing these type of topic I usually start scratching my head wondering how much people understand how actual aircraft rudder, rotary or fix wing, looks and feels like. Anyhow, for those who actually worked around aircraft(pilot, or grease monkey like me)for long enough time should already noti...

Re: It's finally here!
Congratulations! So, how does it feel? Are you planning to change cams and/or springs? What sim are you using it with? DCS perhaps? Sorry, lot of questions, but I am excited for you as I am still waiting on my Mamba.... Smooth as silk, the current springs is good enough for me without the extension...

It's finally here!
Originally I was late for the cobar handle, but due to some wired bit of luck I got the cobar one :D http://i.imgur.com/FnJqkDK.jpg Engraving done beautifully  http://i.imgur.com/lSctCnx.jpg There is a little gift that come with the package as well! Re: Looks like the Mambas are gone!
For me I want the gimbal and the base, the grip is not really my main focus point, it would be nice if I could get the cougar grip for DCS, but since I only fly the Huey the cougar actually doesn't make much use anyway

Re: Customer engraving
I think that VKB should provide feedback whether our submitted artwork is acceptable for engraving, or not. This feedback should be given to us in a timely manner, so that we can adjust our logos accordingly and send them in again, That way we can make sure to get them put onto our Mambas. I would ...

Re: Customer engraving
The first one looked better imo. And, please, keep in mind your logo has to be in a vector format (.cdr or .ai) and not a pixel/raster format (jpeg, tiff, png, etc.). Vector graphics have no dpi value. It is already a vectored graphics with all parts in curves under Coreldraw v14 format, cle...

Re: Customer engraving
OK new version, this is the one I will send to daisy, if it is still too intricate I will have no idea what is simple
BTW does anyone know what DPI they are using? my current is 300, I would assume the machine uses much lower?

Oh well, on the bright side I got to try the new handle earlier then most people.
