Re: How to assign a button to the MCG brake lever
For the Fat Mamba it worked by setting Reg N to 5 from 4, and doing nothing more. 33-34 is already assigned by rdr trim anyway. Then it regs as 57-58. However, 57 is already foldable trigger up. So, disabling 57 in the physical layer profile #Reg8 Line 1: NoF makes sense.

Re: How to install Mamba w/ MCG Pro
Installed it and it works well. I rotated the joystick a bit for ergonomy so its weight makes it a bit off at the center in terms of calibration. Is it possible to rezero it at "rest"? Edit: Just recalibrated it. With the Black Mamba Mk3 I picked firmware for "Fat Mamba". I guess...

Re: How to install Mamba w/ MCG Pro
Just a couple of questions "Black Mamba don’t need to install adapter PCB. Skip to 5- 4." What joystick is in the pictures? Black Mamba MkIII? Why then has it the PCB installed? "For Black Mamba, replace the 6-pin plug with 4-pin plug." Like physically removing the 6-pin plug fro...

Re: New Grips Black Mamba MK III ?
The EU store lists the stand alone mamba grip now. Found it by chance.
It's a bit expensive but I think it makes the joystick complete. Are there still mamba extensions and cams around?

Re: New Grips Black Mamba MK III ?
I've been waiting for this a long time and would've bought the MCG Pro when it was ready for the Black Mamba III, but there were no notifications or info, even though I signed up for a mail list for it. I am still interested but http://shop.vkb-sim.pro/items/mcg_base_arh/ says it's out of stock, and...

Re: New Grips Black Mamba MK III ?
Last word (last year, about this time) was that they didn't have firmware ready. It doesn't seem to be a priority in other words. Supporting older bases, even if they themselves are not super profitable anymore, would increase confidence and sales in current bases though. Not sure how they reason in...

If there is news about the MCG Pro for Black Mamba Mk3 etc users, please let us know, by email or what not, too.

Re: Will the MCG and MCG Pro Grips be sold as a stand alone ?
Some time ago we signed up for updates on the MCG Pro for Black Mamba Mk3. Are such reservations still valid? I understand there's no working firmware for the new grip, but I can't imagine software being an unsurpassable problem. Will you import a batch of Black Mamba compatible grips, even if the f...

Buying in Shenzhen
I'm wondering if it's possible to buy the Gunfighter MCG Pro and/or the MCG Pro grip only for the Black Mamba Mk3-socket while in Shenzhen?

Re: MCG Compatibility - Special Grip, or Grip Adapter?
What are the implications? Let's say everything else is equal, except 2 cm extra height. Why is that a problem - Ergonomy? How will the adapter work with the grip extension? Will it be as durable? What does it mean in terms of cost? What will this adapter mean to the overall look of the setup? Won't...

Re: Who wants an MCG for their Mamba or Gladiator Pro Mk.I?
Definitely. It's very difficult to estimate like this, but at least it could give you a hint of the ratio to produce. Hopefully there will be a big batch for legacy sticks though. If not, a third option, "I own ---- and will never ever want ... " could provide some info too based on total ...

Re: VKB Throttle
Currently I pair the Black Mamba MkIII with a CH Pro Throttle (that I bought 2nd hand on ebay, as it was hard to get by). The CH Pro throttle as you may know is not particularly good-looking, but it's robust and functional . Choice of materials is excellent, it's some kind of composite plastic, almo...

Re: VKB vs Europe Customers
I have ordered multiple times from FSC and always received what I ordered. I was happy with the communication, sure it wasn't much, but I'm sure there could be more communication. For my part it wasn't that important as it was a pre-order and I gathered there would be a lot of shipping delays and EU...
