Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
I'm 100% sure that at least someone will post in this thread soon after any official announcement. Some of us have been here for a long while lol

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
I believe the omni throttle has tunable clutches, so can be configured with the clutch friction exceeding the (also configurable) spring strength so that each axis can be left in position once moved. Also while you do lose an axis for the TECS, it will supposedly have a good thumbstick under the lef...

Re: MechWarrior 5 config file
Yeah, I couldn't get any of the hat directions on my KG12 other than up to register by using the file, even triple checking for spaces and other potential formatting issues.

Re: Is the original Gladiator Pro a dead end base?
Great, thanks for the heads up. I stopped watching the US site as it always had outdated information and the Aliexpress store was suggested as the best place to keep up to date on releases.

Re: Is the original Gladiator Pro a dead end base?
Oh wow, so there was an 5-pin MCG made, or an adaptor?
That's great news then.

Re: Is the original Gladiator Pro a dead end base?
Hang on, how can you facilitate technical support on something that is a matter of straight physical incompatibility? The original (MK1) Gladiator Pros have a 5 wire connector like the original Gladiators. Unlike the original Gladiators, the Pros never had a 5pin to 3 pin adaptor released to allow u...

Re: Is the original Gladiator Pro a dead end base?
I'm in the same boat, and I think, sadly, yes. We just got screwed on upgrade timing. They went to a new handle wiring system soon after it was released, and I don't think enough Gladiator Pros were released for it to be cost effective. Sucks, but it is what it is. Potentially you could sell you Gla...

Re: VKB Kosmosima Space Combat Grip Sneak Peek
Unfortunately we bought at just the wrong time. Soon after the Gladiator Pro shipped, they switched to a different wiring layout and connector (5 wire to 3 wire). The new grips (MCG & Kosmosima) aren’t compatible. There was talk about an adaptor, but I think priorities have changed since then wi...

Re: MCG for Legacy Customers
Ah, thanks Sokol, I hadn't got to the end of that thread yet. My take-away is basically backing up what I said earlier the VKB guys are under the pump, and prioritising the new products to bring forward revenue, which is totally understandable. Though it does seem as though Ilya is determined to pro...

Re: MCG for Legacy Customers
Have you got updated information on backward compatibility? It does suck that early adopters on the Mamba are missing out, but at the same time, I do understand that as a small operation they need to focus on increasing revenue to be able to afford the capital investment on things like new molds. Th...

Re: MCG for Legacy Customers
From what I understand, it’s the firmware programming that is holding it up. Definitely still happening, and plenty of grips, just software holding things up unfortunately.
Hopefully that’s still the case, as I’m desperate to get the MCG Pro for my Gladiator Pro.
