Re: MCG for Legacy Customers
Have you got updated information on backward compatibility? It does suck that early adopters on the Mamba are missing out, but at the same time, I do understand that as a small operation they need to focus on increasing revenue to be able to afford the capital investment on things like new molds. T...

Re: MCG for Legacy Customers

Another direction change....aannnnd I'm done. Be on the look out for a Fat Black Mamba on sale on eBay soon. I'll be buying Virpil. buh bye...

MCG for Legacy Customers
Is this still planned, or should I assume it's gone the way of the dodo?

Re: KG-12 for Fat Mamba Question
Buttons on the KG-12 itself. Buttons and axis on Mamba base are fine. I've gone into VKBConfg and tried several different combinations of Physical and Logical button changes and cannot get anything from the KG-12. FYI - I opened the KG-12 up and found that it has three wires going to the pins and no...

KG-12 for Fat Mamba Question
I purchased this from VKB North America late last year: https://vkbcontrollers.com/?product=vkb-sim-kg12-wwii-combat-grip-5-pin Unfortunately I cannot get it to work with my Fat Mamba. The Profile linked on the page appears to be for a Gunfighter or Gladiator, not the Mamba. Is there a profile avail...

Re: Fat Mamba firmware update failing
I don't think they are. What I do is take screenshots of the configs I have prior to upgrading then manually recreate them once I've updated the firmware. A bit of an annoyance but not that big of a deal.

Any FW version - if only it is for YOUR model of MAMba.
Ah Ok. I'll pull down the B version later tonight and convert my handle profiles.

Re: Fat Mamba firmware update failing
Sadly, the only 1.92 FW version on that drive is for B, not A. But I was able to download the 1.917 version and apply it successfully to my Fat Mamba after having the same issues as the OP.

Re: Now I am confused...
That does not answer my question. Perhaps I should reword it. Can I now order a 5pin MCG that will work with my Fat BlackMamba? Based on the previous posts and information on the US store the 5-pin version that was available for ordering at that time did not support the Fat BlackMamba. The last info...

So does this mean VKB is now offering MCGs that will be compatible with the 5Pin Fat Black Mamba in the initial pre-order batch? I thought this was not going to be the case until some later date.

Re: question about VKB-Sim MCG-MG (legacy 5-pin) grip
I hope you will release the PCB option soon, many of us feel a bit left out in the cold.
I can't speak for others, but I know I do.

Re: question about VKB-Sim MCG-MG (legacy 5-pin) grip
Thank you for the detailed reply. UIV did mention in his PMs about the PCB, and your reply helps further clarify this point. It does not, however, lessen my disappointment that I cannot order the MCG on Monday. Perhaps I should have stressed that last point a bit more...

Re: question about VKB-Sim MCG-MG (legacy 5-pin) grip
The Vintage Mamba with the plastic KG12 grip is not compatible with the older Fat or Black Mambas. I know this from experience and also based on a discussion with UIV via PM As for the news about the MCG, I'm very disappointed. I guess those of us with the older sticks are out of luck for now...or m...
