For anyone else looking to do a DIY grip, unfortunately VKB sales were unable to provide this sensor.

No, the numbers don't add linearly, they are just model numbers.
#30 + #50 is not the same as 2 × #40.

By adding a 4pin output connector (with a board like in GF) to connect to another BB, you can make pedals with one axis (the main Y-axis board left after the upgrade). That's not very common outside of the US, as far as I know.
Especially in countries where service is technically - if not in practice - mandatory.

I'm also interested in a short extension, specifically a revA one with provisions for fastening the extension with a rotation offset.

I'd like to use my F14 grip with a rotated offset for ergonomic purposes, and I'm not quite happy with rotating the entire curved extension.
