You're doing something wrong, I can't figure out what. You can reset all the settings to the defaults, like when the THQ axes were on VC2, and calibrate them so they work at full range. Take a screenshot of the settings, and after transferring the axes, simply enter the numbers for each one manually...

You can try this: enable the Cn checkbox (in physics) for the desired axis and save it to the controller using the Set button.
But now, before calibration, you need to center the lever and move it in both directions during the calibration process.

Check the boxes in Settings like this, and now when you launch the calibration, you'll be able to select the desired axes.

В самой верхней строке, в скобках, указана рекомендуемая версия прошивки для данного конфигуратора. Испоьзовать выше версии - можно, ниже - нет.

Кнопка Set нужна только для записи в контроллер сделанных изменений в конфигураторе. Других назначений у неё нет. Поэтому и пишет, что нечего сохранять, изменений 0, zero. Попробуйте крайнюю прошивку для конфигуратора 0.94.44 отсюда. Было бы неплохо увидеть видео процесса по ошибке. Можно сюда ссылку вставить на него.

I recommend trying the newer firmware and configurator from here.
Configure the settings as shown in the screenshot. Then, in the Button Test, when you quickly press and release the button, only the second button will work. The first button will work as usual.
