Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
Thanks, but I only use the joystick for 1 game (or 1 type of game) and it's always FPS games. Thus, I always/only need X/Y as WASD. I do have one other item I still haven't been able to figure out. On that same screen as your last screenshot, there's the POV1 DOWN, UP, LEFT, RIGHT - on my stick they...

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
Finally! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I finally did the right combination of reset/calibration, and settings and it appears to be working. When I got it working after the reset, instead of losing that and trying to fix what was wrong with my old configuration (saved to a file), I went ahead and ...

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
If I reset joystick to default, and turn on virtual keyboard, set POV screen to this: WASD_2.jpg The joystick has no input from pushing left, right, forward, or backwards. Nothing. To confirm, you stated earlier I do not need the older settings at all? (setting wasd to 76, 75, 74, & 73 as someon...

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
I haven't set anything there. If I tell the controller to reset to defaults, that's what the controller puts in there. If it's supposed to be something else, I have earthly idea how I'm supposed to figure that out. I have to assume it came from the factory with those settings. I don't recall changin...

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
It's set to the BIG joystick, forward/backward, and left/right. What do you mean by set it up correctly? When I click Tools tab and click Default, I thought that was supposed to reset the controller to default settings everywhere? Does it not? If it does not, I have no idea what the default settings...

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
If I do these, WASD does nothing. Gladiator NXT EVO ‘Space Combat Edition’ - Right Hand × 1 SCG Premium Right 1.png Keyboard & mouse for virtual use. Shows no input for Axes2Buttons side tab. 2.png I do not have buttons 73-76 from 1st page entered for anything (you said remove all old settings)....

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
So you're saying, Tools, Default (resets joystick to default), Action/Common Keyboard Classic, then Profile, POVs, POV Type #2, set LoRes 8W, Output Keyboard/WASD, Set to send to device. Then I should be able to goto Test tab, and moving stick will give me WASD? Then I have something wrong still, ev...

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
I downloaded additional firmware (2.18F) & Device Config software version (0.93.18). I recalibrated joystick and it works better, but 2 issues remain. 1) It takes about half a joystick throw (forward, backward, left, or right), for it to acknowledge the WASD input. 2) when in notepad (test), it ...

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
I am having the same issue with the WASD keys bound to the axis of my VKB Joystick, the "key presses" are not sent until the joystick physically hits the end of its range of movement. Has anyone come across a solution for this? Okay, got the map to key working, but like this user, it requ...

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
I'm trying to follow this now, but with the older version used then the version posted on 9/9/24, I'm a bit confused as to what the actual steps are for the latest version of the joystick firmware & updated Device Config software. I'm running a Gladiator NXT EVO 'Space Combat Edition' right hand...

Re: Can we rearrange button configuration?
Great video. I'm not sure I understand this: "The installed ministick on the central button has a uSSw switch function which allows you to switch it either to two axes or to POV. It is activated by a long press. " Are you saying I can press down on the ministick for a length of time, and t...

Re: Can we rearrange button configuration?
Thanks for the reply. Does replacing ministick with a HAT pushbutton module require soldering? The ministick is much too sensitive for me, I keep pushing left/right when I'm trying to engage forward/backward with it. That's why I want to swap to a standard hat. You can only replace the ministick wit...

Can we rearrange button configuration?
Have Gladiator NXT EVO Space & Combat Edition Premium (right, and left, but working with right at the moment). I am used to a competitor's joystick with different layout of buttons AND my hands are small/short & crooked fingers. Is it possible for me to open things up and move the upper righ...
