Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

It was my mistake. When I disconnected the STEM from my STECS I'd forgotten to reconnect the cable inside to the USB bus. I have it working now. Thanks.

Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

Device Config at the top says: VKB Device Config v0.92.88 ( NJoy32 firmware v2.16.0)
and the THG module says: VKBSim NXT THQ XT2 v2.176

I'm not sure if that's the latest, I'll go and check. Thanks.

Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

So I have the USB controller inserted into my GNX THQ-V and that's plugged into the PC, configured and working fine. However, I have a JST cable from the GNX THQ-V plugged into STEM module but I can't get the Device Config to recognise it and get it working. I've tried hitting the Default button in ...

Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

Thanks. I've ordered a USB 3 one, ready for when my VKB parts arrive.

Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

That's great!
And one more question.. To allow me flexibility in positioning the STEM I could extend the length of the USB to JST cable with a Type-C to Type-C module cable connected to it using a USB Type-C coupler?
Thanks.

Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

I've been thinking about this some more and was wondering, would it be possible to connect the STEM to a GNX THQ-V, install a GNX USB controller into the GNX THQ-V and then plug that into my PC? Because, I'm guessing, installing the USB controller into the GNX THQ-V takes away the Type-C to Type-C c...

Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

I was planning to mount the STEM on a MFH holder, like on a STECS Max, but on it's own on my right hand side. I've already ordered the ATEM module and another MFH and USB controller. Thanks for the suggestion, but for simplicity I'm just going to convert my throttle to a Max configuration using the ...

Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

Thanks for the reply. I don't really want to mirror the STECS Max configuration. I just want to swap the STEM with the ATEM and continue to use the SEM-V mounted in front of my throttle on the MFH. The custom fabrication is a bit beyond me, so it looks like the easiest option is to buy another MFH a...

Re: STECS Modules (ATEM and STEM) Can Be Used On Their Own?

I would like to do a similar thing. I want to swap the STEM on my STECS Standard with a ATEM and use the STEM separately as a control panel. I have a Gladiator K with a SYS port, is there any way it can be connected to that? Or is the only way to buy a SEM and a USB controller and connect the STEM t...
