Re: Grip WWII.
The THQ connects to the GNX ecosystem over a bus line. The grip is a small passive input to the THQ that needs the THQ base to be adapted to the bus. So no, you cannot bypass the THQ. That is also why the WW2 THQ requires a specific subaddress and why the grip does not show up in the external device...

Re: Grip WWII.
The grip has no brain of its own and relies on the chips in the THQ, so no.

Re: Assembling the WWII THQ Throttle grip
It does not matter. The only time you need to pay attention is when you want to install the grip across two THQs, as the default setup uses the outer two levers as sensors with the middle serving as a mechanical stabilizer. Just be sure to avoid pinching the cable.

Re: GNX SEM on the left side of left joystick
There are some limitations where putting it to the left of a left omnithrottle, the stick may get in the way of the flaps lever, but with straight sticks there are no issues.

I'd try Gladiator K KG12 if you have an old kg12 grip on your glad pro.

Re: Installing revision c upgrade kit into mcgu with twist
There are little plastic fingers on the white shell, holding the metal contacts in place. You can lift those fingers up with a pointy tool and pull out the wire, then insert the wire into the three-pin housing. The contact has a little barb on it that needs to be on the same side as the fingers. The...

Re: GF MK4 base dimensions the same as GF MK3 base?
Everything is identical except the top plate, which has slightly larger holes to account for the redesigned dampers and the new tension adjusters.

For TECS's sake
Vendors have told us that you cannot mix left and right grips and bases on STECS. That left grips only belong on left bases and right grips only belong on right bases. Which is why the right grip is only sold as part of a whole system, while left grips are also sold standalone (to convert between mo...

Re: Gunfighter IV with twist + T-rudder Mk V - possible?
OP mentioned GF Mk4, which also comes with the Mk3 black box. First thing to mention, from your computer's point of view, the black box is the stick - or the pedal set for that matter. If you unplug everything from the black box and just plug the black box itself into the computer, it will still sho...

Re: Usage of Gladiator-Stick electronics in 3d-Printed Stick
Only the old model of WW2 grip had a more compact board. If you want to do your own grip and only need button inputs, maybe the Warthog adapter and some 4021 shift registers (74HC165 and the likes probably won't work) might be an option.

Use case was having three different modes on a ministick - pov, mouse and axes.

Re: STG in Europe.
All versions of the space stecs are in stock. Left mini, left mini plus, left standard, left max, right mini, right mini plus, right standard, and right max. Not sure what you are talking about. Sadly, VKB does not offer right STG replacement grips, despite them working on the left base (albeit with...

Re: STG in Europe.
I took the Houthi thread to mean "ships are diverted around the Cape of Good Hope, causing delays between half a month and a whole month", rather than "VKB shipments are getting stolen/destroyed". The stuff FSC is getting in stock is from containers that were sent out before spac...

Re: NXT EVO: Throttle not detected
Did you buy one of them open box EVOs that are on sale from the EU store at the moment? That looks like a fairly old model between the 5-pin S-LED connector on the USB board and the lack of rubber rings on the clutch adjustment screws. You probably need a different firmware version, marked as "...
