Modal Switch and Axis2Buttons Booleans inherit inversion options
Software: 0.93.99 Firmware: 2.21.4 Device: MK1 Standard STECS Issue: Modal Switch and Axis2Buttons can inherit output inversion from a previous function in the same slot. Modal Switch normally does not support output inversion. However if the boolean slot was previously used for a function with inve...

Re: STECS MK.II axis mapping
In Global > External Devices > STEM disable the mapping for Axis #1 (the white lever on STEM) by changing the input type from Virtual to None. Screenshot 2026-02-23 164826.png It will keep functioning as buttons (afaik the processing for that is done in situ inside the STEM itself), but will no long...

Re: VKB gunfighter mk4 L handed edition and steam controller detection
It's unlikely the firmware is the issue here (but you can always flash to the latest available here , latest public release is 2.19.9). Have you checked whether other applications, like gamepad tester can see the Gunfighter and whether it works fine there? Also, the Steam Input UI is pretty bad, the...

Re: T-Rudder not showing in Device Config
When both T-Rudder and Gunfighter are connected to the same base the T-Rudder axis becomes just part of the Gunfighter. It is not listed individually.

Re: Bind X and Y AXES TO WASD keys
With that explanation out of the way: 1. Is that throw distance a mechanical deadzone that the gimbal or dry clutches must go through, -or can I do something to make that throw shorter then it already is? With 0% dzlo there is no deadzone in t he middle. Whatever delay remains in the activation of ...

Re: which firmware for an upgraded Gladiator NXT to EVO
MSFS24 is a game that's struggling with virtual controllers (necessary if you are combining more than 8 axes together), so that's one case where having your GNX module on a dedicated USB controller would be beneficial. Some games don't have great controller support (BF6 is another game where having ...

Re: which firmware for an upgraded Gladiator NXT to EVO
The EVO upgrade kit does not change the electronics so you would still use the Gladiator_NXT firmware. If the GNX module is plugged into the NXT controller (with the JST cable) then it is not its own device but becomes part of the NXT controller config. If the GNX module independently plugs into the...

Re: Floating point division by Zero in Curve Wizard
Bumping this as it's still current with software version 0.93.89. I realize I was less than thorough with the step by step in the original post: ⋅ In Profile > Axis open the Curve Wizard for any curve ⋅ Enable Proportional ⋅ Drag the last control point (100% deflection)...

Re: Can't Figure Out How to Add Addition Axes
Try and keep the multiplier to a power of two. 1024 should work perfectly rather than 999.

Re: Can't Figure Out How to Add Addition Axes
Click the inverted chevron button and enable 'New Opt'. This will allow you to input an axis id higher than 8 (then also do as Fallout9 says).

Re: Encoder setup to adjust heading/course etc.
As for making the axis loop around, there is no built-in option for that (it would be a nice feature). It's possible to scrounge something like it together with some heavy boolean use, but it's kind of janky and I have instead found that simply playing with the additional encoder options is usually ...

Re: Encoder setup to adjust heading/course etc.
Great, thx a lot! I managed to setup the two Axis which are linked to the Encoder and are toggled with a Modal Switch. That works so far. Encoder.png Profile_Axes.png However, Axis 8 won't go beyond 25087 (see screenshot). Axis 7 works fine. Might that be a bug? All settings are equal between Axis ...
