If I purchase a long stand, can it be configured like the short stand? It appears they have the same parts, with the long stand having an extra piece in the middle. It appears if the middle piece is removed, it can be made into a short stand?

Despite it being CNY in the past week, my package had already been attempted to be delivered today having been ordered only two days ago. Amazingly fast! If only I had known to be around!

My question about twist was entirely seperate.

From what I've seen, it sits at the bottom of the stick, and obviously is designed to permit motion around the Z axis. What I would like to know is whether this has any play in it that can be felt in the X/Y axis. My gut feeling is skip the option.

It's NOT sat on a desk. I can't stand that for more than 5 seconds! :D The table is slightly lower than the chair so it is very comfortable. I don't slam the stick around. Is it possible to configure a button/axis as a shift function outside of a game, so a single button can have two functions?

Does the VKB software support sending key commands in place of DX button press, or does a 3rd party utility need to be used (no problem if it does!).

Is there a base plate available for the stick? I'm not in the most optimum state to mount anything, so I currently sit the stick freely on a small table next to me. Is the Gunfighter stable enough in that situation?
