Sorry for necro-threading but I believe I am having the same issue as @MoistestPickle described in the OP. I recently purchased a Gladiator NXT EVO and I'm trying to reconfigure it so that the 4-way HAT right under my thumb behaves as POV1 with a center push-button, and moving the mini-stick to work...
