Sry to bring up an old thread but I’d like to make the HDG encoder adjust CRS while in nav mode in msfs as described but not sure where to start!?

If anyone has made this work any assistance would be much appreciated

Hi all I don’t use the mode feature but I would still like the led to change from red to green when I press the button. Reason being I use the mode button for landing gear so just thought it would be cool if I could use the led as an indicator. Green-down Red-up Hope that makes sense, any help would...
