Usually that cat be fixed with a soldering iron and a $1 microswitch, though

What is the MCG based on?

I'm making a little project that has me cataloging joystick grips and the respective aircraft(s) associated with them, if any. I've tried looking for images of russian fighters but haven't yet found one that matches exactly. SU57 seems to be the closest but is missing a second hat on the left side, ...

Re: GNX module limits

Ah so I guess you could connect up to 10 modules then? Isn't there current considerations? Should I make sure it's connected to a powered hub or a USB3.0 port above a certain amount of modules?

GNX module limits

I've read that there's a limit of 4 modules than can be connected together, but what counts as a module? For instance, if I put together a Gladiator Joystick with a GNX THQ and a THQ grip, that's 4 components - the joystick base, grip, quadrant and throttle grip, could more GNX modules be attached t...

Why can't we buy separate Gladiator bases?

The bases are packaged separately from the sticks, so why isn't there an option to buy the base alone? I was considering buying extra grips to play with and wish I had the option to buy extra bases separately in case I wanted to turn some of the additional grips into complete joysticks.

Re: Best set-up for switching between helicopter, fixed wing and space

Seems to me your best fit would be a right hand F14 or SCG grip and a left hand SCG grip with the omnithrottle. I would not advise buying it with the intent of switching it back and forth, the process of changing the omnithrottle shaft for the straight one takes several minutes and it's not a good i...

Re: VKB WWII Setup Marching In

[ 5_21_01_2022.jpg The New KG12 is coming with a long-awaited WWII throttle control. This barrel-shaped grip head sits in your hand like it was there forever. Six buttons: two on the front side, two under the thumb, and two under the ends of the rocker for manual prop pitch control. (The original o...

Re: Using a vkb joystick with a custom stick

Assuming from the original comment that you're willing to construct the grip body from scratch or heavily modify an existing one, you can probably make an ambidextrous joystick out of a MCG grip as a board donor or by extensively modifying the body

GNX spacer module

Something I find flawed on the module design is that the only means to attach is directly to another module at the side or to the mount, with no means to adjust the distance between modules, this can get cumbersome if you attach a gladiator next to a module, particularly a THQ module with high lever...

Re: Force Feedbacl MK4 maybe?

There is a manufacturer making FFB bases, although for a hefty price and designed for thrustmaster-standard sticks https://youtu.be/GcmZB5-oGEU Apparently there were patent issues because some douchebag decided to patent troll the industry in such way that sub-$100 FFB joysticks became nonviable, re...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD

The base looks very similar to the Gladiator, yet the side panels don't seem to be detachable and they're a different shape, I hope you're working on a base that we can connect GNX modules to
