Re: Gladiator NXT Y-axis drift - solved
yep - fixed it with a blob of superglue, magnet fell straight out of its collar when i took it apart - very loose before, now solid and no axis drift.

Gladiator NXT Y-axis drift
I'm getting the issue a few have reported here already - Y-axis drift on the NXT joystick usually after restarting pc or waking it next morning from sleep mode, the centre position is shifted and it wont reach the end of its calibration travel. Calibrating it again seems to fix it solid for a day bu...

Re: How to make pov hat switch a regular button
I changed mine to Tempo mode, best of both worlds- short press=normal button, long press = mode change.

NXT standard to premium - reflash?
I'm getting the upgrade kit for premium nxt delivered today. After installation does the stick have to be re-flashed/reset?

quick idiot newbie ministick question
I read a lot here about config of ministick, red LED and swapping ministick function between pov switches and axis - is this only applicable for the Gladiator NXT Premium?
I assume the NXT Standard (my version) only comes with a normal pov hat switch?

Re: How to upgrade my NXT Gladiator's side button?
Yep seen that - that stick already has the side button as pov hat, the video deals with installing a ministick in the top section. Nothing about the side button.

Re: Trying to figure out how to make the NXT Slider1/2 into a "Throttle axes"
Do you mean En1 and En2 - the rotary encoders? They wont give an analog output (zero to 100) the throttle needs, they are rotary digital switches sending out pulses when turned. In DCS there are some functions that allow either analog axis or digital (up a bit, down a bit) such as lighting, HUD brig...

Re: Tempo and shift function?
This post has solved exactly what I needed - thanks! Although I have absolutely no idea why the boolean needs 2 OR function with 2 logical button 49's feeding into it!

Tempo and shift function?
I've mapped a shift state to hat switch A3 (Gladiator NXT) so I can then use the U/D/L/R for differnt functions in the shift state, but I only want it to enter the shift-state after a long press. With a short press it should just remain a normal button. Is this possible? I read the post on here abou...

Re: New NXT very stiff!
Thanks - I'm happy to try and improve the damping as I dont like it the way it is, unless it will bed in and ease up after a couple of weeks. One more question - is the Nye 767A the same grease as is applied - so if I use this I'll be back at square one again, or is it a bit llighter, less viscous, ...

Re: New NXT very stiff!
No theres nothing blocking the full travel of the stick. I saw some Reddit threads from people with same issue - interesting reading the left hand grips were thought to have the old grease and were a lot less damped but still smooth, but the new right hand grips were very stiff - new higher viscosit...

Re: New NXT very stiff!
This is the standard Gladiator NXT, not the Evo. I cannot see 3 screrws to remove on my stick? It is the x-axis in particular that is really really stiff. Is it supposed to be that stiff?
