In the various components supplied with the UCM mount (gunfighter, and also in one for the Gladiator) there are two black metal pieces, shaped a bit like "L"...about 3cm long. I have no idea what they are for. Any ideas or instructions? Many thanks.

Solved. I had to press AMAZINGLY hard to get it into position, and the light immediately switched green.
