Re: Help with Gunfighter IV MCGU mini-sticks please

There was no need for me to make the changes I was trying - turns out I just hadn't mapped all the available camera controls in the sim, which is why it was so frustrating I had changed things in Devcfg that I didn't need to, and then couldn't work out how to reverse them. Now it's reset to default ...

Understood. Thank you for taking a look Alex, much appreciated.

I have updated to the latest firmware & software and done a reset to default. All working fine now.

Re: Help with Gunfighter IV MCGU mini-sticks please

I did read the linked recommendation. It asks for as much information as possible to be provided. No, the ministicks are both as came attached to the MCGU in the box from new. I know I can reset it to default and update the firmware. It worked until I made changes in Devcfg however, so I was hoping ...

Help with Gunfighter IV MCGU mini-sticks please

Need help with the mini-sticks in my Gunfighter IV please. This is a software issue that I have mucked up btw, not a mechanical failure. I use the GF mostly for MSFS 2020 and 2024, and I had the top centre mini stick bound in camera settings to look up / down / left / right in both external and inte...

Re: Changing SEM flaps from 3 detents to 4

Hi Rockape8288,

As per earlier in the discussion, I use the top (or 'up') detent for 'Retract Flaps'
First position down is 'Flaps 1'
Second position down is 'Flaps 2' and
Third position (fully down) is 'Flaps 3'

Re: Damper for T-Rudder pedals

In the absence of an official kit or mod, it is very easy to DIY. I bought an universal adjustable steering damper (brand listed as 'Biking') from Amazon for £40 (it's black and silver, so the aesthetic matches), plus a bag of assorted M5 nuts and bolts for £12. I mounted it between the left hand fo...

Re: VKB HOTAS. Phase One.

That's a sensible idea, thank you. I will contact the EU sales centre with this request.

Kind regards.

Re: VKB HOTAS. Phase One.

The Gunfighter MKIV is RevC only, so any grip you'd use it should also be RevC. We'll list soon in store upgrade kits to RevC for compatible grips and full twist module on RevC, same as extensions and other extras. Hi fallout9, I appreciate you have already been very busy on this topic, so sorry to...

Re: Question re UCM Stronghold

This works. UCM.JPEG Hi Victorus, I'm about to order the UCM mounts, but I have another question following on from your helpful picture above: Which version of the UCM is closest to the camera, with the throttles and the SEM mounted on it? I'm trying to work out which baseplate version I need in or...

Re: Question re UCM Stronghold

One further question on this - I assume if I go for the 200mm extension for the Gunfighter, then the UCM L is the preferred mounting option for the stick? Assuming that's correct, I will use the regular USM S on the other side of the desk for the throttles, GSM GA and SEM, to kind of keep the thrott...

Re: Reinforcing Plate Installation

No problem, happy to help! The reinforcing plates themselves are slightly thinner than the rubber pads, so everything should fit nice and flat if you use the black countersunk screws to attach the plates. As per my previous post though, I found the standard supplied screws to be of a rather soft met...

Re: Reinforcing Plate Installation

Hi Bhemp, I bought the reinforcing plates and think they add a lot of useful strength, as well as taking some of the strain off the plastic sides where the modules join. Here's how they fit on mine: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AiuorbBMUyN9f4d66ICroskYDKg?e=0ljXxb Note I have used different screws to the phi...

Re: Question re UCM Stronghold

Thank you Victorus, much appreciated. I'll probably try keeping the three modules joined together and attach them to the base plate with the FSM on the vertical at first. But if that isn't as stable as I'd like, it's good to know that I can mount two modules vertically and two on the baseplate. My S...
