I have GFIII and GFIV bases and noticed that the 'Base-to-Controller Cable' changed in design. The new GF4 cable has a black plastic body, while the older GF3 cable had a full metal body. There is nothing really fancy and fitting out there, but you can create something nice with some work.
I took some synthetic leather from a garment supply shop and sewed them to a fitting nice tube. Add some nice detail (badge, pendand, sticker, whatever) and you have some truly unique
