Re: STECS moving by its own weight
It was on my desk, next to the flightsticks. The desk is on elbow-level, where it's supposed to be. The STECS (Mini Plus and above) are advertised as "a desktop stand-alone device". So, this should have been perfectly suitable for the Mini Plus I tried. On the other hand, the throttle didn...

Re: STECS moving by its own weight
I'd say, if the lever's weight interferes with it functionality it needs a counter weight.
Or accepting that a lever system like this doesn't make much sense and go for a rail system.

Re: STECS moving by its own weight
Something I can fix by opening the thing...?
That reminds me that I already tried to open the baseplate, but the center screw didn't move at all. As in: I saw the included screw driver's shaft twist, but it still didn't move.

STECS moving by its own weight
Hello, Is it intended that the STEC's grip moves by its own weight when left unattended? Sure, when the friction is set very low there's not much to hold it. But to stop it from moving I have to tighten the screws so much that the STECS's hefty weight and two clamps at the front are not sufficient t...

VKB Device Config - Is there a way to merge axes?
Hi, Is it possible to merge two axes (or buttons) at different devices to result in the same output? E.g.: In Star Citizen you can bind only one button or axis per controlled operation. Now I want a STECS to accompany my dual sticks, and use the one I prefer at that time. Like, HOTAS for daily busin...

Re: Gladiator OTA
In the post from 9th of March I described the throttle and how it doesn't seem to work with me in front of my desk and the sticks standing on the desk. Me, in the end asking what I'm doing wrong, was totally honest and not rethorical at all. The thing is: The grips and my hands basically seem to wor...

Re: Gladiator OTA
I hope it's okay to use this topic for further OTA questions. Because... I don't understand it. Why is it's rotational axis tilted downwards? Like in: trigger finger pointing down to the desk? Only when I turn it all the way to the left (what used to be left before OTA. Left stick BTW) it is almost ...

Re: Bootloader - Device not Ready & can't fix
It seems to fianally work now! =) Unfortunately I don't really know why or how, as there's so straight course of action. Things changed back and forth and a lot of re-starting the Device Config and reseting the sticks was involved. Only the analog mini-stick on the right stick seems to be lost now. ...

Re: Bootloader - Device not Ready & can't fix
Well, it's not even working with the left stick, which has no more SEM. I just put my previous post's edit in here: It's also strange that the right stick's name (the one which now has the SEM attached) changed to "VKB Boot NJoy32 platform v00.56 Lite" after I connected it to the latest so...

Re: Bootloader - Device not Ready & can't fix
Same problem here. I added the OTA. Thus, I had to swap my SEM from "left of left stick" to "left of right stick". That's the only reason why I had to change any settings. In the process I wanted to update and now I'm stuck with "Device not ready" . There was no problem...

Re: GNX SEM Axis use
Okay, now a lot is working. Well, yes, updating the sticks' firmware made the missed buttons in the VKBDevCfg show up. That helped a lot. But I'm surprised why my newly delivered second stick was just as outdated as the one I ordered in June. Inverting the axes was easy too after I noticed that the ...

Re: GNX SEM Axis use
How do you actually set up the axis as axis? The only instruction I found is the "VKB NXT line software guide - SEM" video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moj2FOYNNe0&list=PLDtbsvyzXZFBYC9TrBg12dM0OHXo5N-ZO&index=3 But you are using a different software version with a d...
