Help, Had my stick open to re-fix a switch that was flaky and when I put it back together, the lights on the top didn't come on and no buttons above the base triggered when testing with VKBconfig. How long will it take? I heard back, and verified my address a week ago.

Do you know how I go about getting the part? I've put in a ticket, # 3138, but is there something else I have to do?

That happened once. When it stopped working after assembly, I took it apart to the point where I could re-check the switch. So I removed the cover, removed the board, and tested the switch again. The switch operates as follows, using the picture with your probes: Red to Black: Switch off: open Switc...

So the pads are secure and there is no resistance between the raw pin and the pad for the upper two, and between the pin and the solder dot between the ones labeled VCC and GND on the small board.

Next step?

They look attached, I don't see any marks. They don't move when poked.

OK, Well took it apart as directed, checked the switch and it was normally open/closed when the button was pushed. I don't have a tester, but I can rig something up with a flashlight. 3V in series with a flashlight bulb won't hurt it, right?

And the button only recently stopped working. It was good for months before then.
