All the games you listed are DOS games. So, you could run them under DOSBox and then you get the benefit of being able to map joystick buttons as keyboard buttons.
I find this very convenient for ATF.

Re: Question About Purchasing STECS Switches
For anyone watching, I was thinking about this today and found this: https://www.printables.com/model/712507-thumbstick-for-vkb-stecs-throttle I figure I'll throw it on the printer this weekend. Finally got around to printing this (delayed by buying a new printer and then spending a month printing ...

Re: Conflict with Elden Ring
I have experienced this. My workaround is to never have any controllers connected until I go to play a game, then I connect the controllers in exactly the correct order, and then it works. For example, I always connect right control then right control for airplane games. For driving, it's pedals, th...

The universal hack I've always used is to cut a small piece of electrical tape and put it over the LED.

Re: Rubbing Noise NXT Evo OmniThrottle Left Hand
I'd need to take mine apart to give you a good walkthrough, which I'm not in a position to do right now, but the grip adapter connects the grip to the omni throttle and is secured with screws. The omni throttle installation video shows how to install the adapter, so should be a good guide as to how ...

Re: Rubbing Noise NXT Evo OmniThrottle Left Hand
Is it possible that the rubbing is internal and that is why there's some play in it as well.

Are the throttles locked together, or are you using them as two independent throttles?

Re: DOSBox-x and too many buttons
Yeah, I realized this after I made the change and it was accepted by upstream. As I haven't used or cared about Windows in many years, hopefully this is understandable. Feel free to bump the number and submit the PR. That is indeed unfortunate, but, as I do not use that feature, I did not notice its...

DOSBox-x and too many buttons
For anyone who, like me, uses modern sticks with old games, my PR to allow DOSBox-X to map up to 96 buttons (was 32) was just merged, so should be in the next release. (PR https://github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x/pull/4596) I also checked an button combinations seem to work, so I was able to map A...

Re: Black frame + detents
Follow-up. For some reason, after setting up my STECS with PimpMySTECS on, I played some, shut the computer down, then came back the next day and the Detents panel was empty - no way to change the config. Changing PimpMySTECS back to 0 resolves the issue. I can no longer change the black detent, but...

Re: Black frame + detents
Ah, excellent! That ini file change was exactly what I needed. Now I have all the things! One of the many reasons why VKB is awesome. Well done! Also, by way of feedback.. I got the STECS Max and it has ALL THE BUTTONS. So many buttons. And I can change many of the buttons to.. OTHER BUTTONS! Love it.

Black frame + detents
I'm sorry if this has been asked, but I have to ask... why doesn't the black frame allow for setting custom detents? 1. I have no application where I want no detents. 2. The STECS includes some nice black matching plastic backs... which are of no use because you can't use them with the black frame. ...

Re: Question About Purchasing STECS Switches
My STECS arrived today and I see what you mean about that hat being.. odd. However, I grabbed my SCG grip and pulled the hat off that miniskick and it's the same size stem. It looks a little small but feels fine. So, as a stopgap, if the factory could just throw one of those in the box, it would be ...
