I use mine to play a lot of DOSBox games and it only displays the first dozen or so characters which say "VKB Gladiator..."

That's great, but I have a left and a right and I don't know which one the bind is mapped to, because the full name is cut off...

Does unplug/replug fix it?

All the games you listed are DOS games. So, you could run them under DOSBox and then you get the benefit of being able to map joystick buttons as keyboard buttons.

I find this very convenient for ATF.

The universal hack I've always used is to cut a small piece of electrical tape and put it over the LED.

Is it possible that the rubbing is internal and that is why there's some play in it as well.

Are the throttles locked together, or are you using them as two independent throttles?

For some reason, after setting up my STECS with PimpMySTECS on, I played some, shut the computer down, then came back the next day and the Detents panel was empty - no way to change the config. Ah, excellent! That ini file change was exactly what I needed. Now I have all the things! One of the many reasons why VKB is awesome. Well done! Also, by way of feedback.. I got the STECS Max and it has ALL THE BUTTONS. So many buttons. And I can change many of the buttons to.. OTHER BUTTONS! Love it.
