Received the new fasteners! small note, the new ones didn't have the straight side the previous ones have, they do not fit my stick, no worries I use the new screw in old fastener. Thank you for your reply, Yes, the pin is in the deeper hole, Im sure since I keep the stick relatively straight as well. Biggest problem seems to be, with the extension the forward pressure, tilts the rear part of the extension upwards, hopefully I will be able to tighten the new fasteners a tiny b...

This time i spun the stick for 5 minutes with each fastener and neither failed, so they work fine it seems. That's usually what happens when the hex key is not inserted all the way inside the screw head. Any tool or screw could get damaged this way, sometimes even titanium ones. Get another 2.5mm hex key and try again, they're cheap. Push it all the way inside the screw when tightening/releasing it.[/quot...
