Yeah. I ordered it from the site, so hopefully no issues getting a replacement. For now, I'm going to swap it out. I don't entirely trust my soldering skills not to turn this from "bad" to "worse"
You've been a huge help, though! This was a tricky little issue to diagnose!
Trying to disassemble it, but I can't get that bottom hat off, no matter how much I pry or pull. The other two were no problem. edit: Disregard. Just needed to be patient. :? edit2: So it looks like this could potentially be my issue. Looks like at least one of the pads came loose (right next to whe...
Okay, I changed it to buttons just like the video: buttons1.png buttons2.png I noticed a light change on the stick: PXL_20210914_145918169.jpg After clicking "Action-Set," I went to "Tools-Start Calibr" and moved all the axes, then clicked "Tools-End Calibr" But otherwi...
Okay, I changed the MPL from 8 to 9, went to Actions-Set. I then attempted to calibrate all the axes on the stick and pressed the A2 button, at which point the stick lit up white for a moment.

Thanks for the quick reply! I attempted the calibration, but I couldn't get any red light to turn on with the thumbstick, either clicking, clicking and holding, or double- or triple-clicking. :? The rest of the axes appeared to respond normally. edit to add: Just to test, when I click on the thumbst...
