Seems to be working all right now.
Started zbootloader
Pressed the grey Reset button in black box
Connected the usb cable

After that I could flash the black box.

How can I upgrade firmware, if the bootloader cannot find the black box?

T Rudder's not working - no lights in black box. Tried another computer and cables and usb ports. In Config there is this mysterious LG Airplane Mode Button, as seen in the picture.

Still doesn't work properly. Cannot use Subshift 2-7. BMs popping up.

I figured it out. Seems to be working. I had to leave the V.button as is and select the free number in BUT1.

I have tried firmware version 2.12.2 and 2.13.9. VkbConvig versions 0.92.51 and 0.92.65. And I have no clue what this buttonM or Modal Switch is, as there is no documentation. There is another message:

I have received both the VKB NXT and THQ module without any delay (within a week) from the european Shop to Finland. Service was great.

I also tried to set a vkb nxt button for the virtual brakes in T-Link, but it does not seem to work. I did all the default and calibration stuff but to no avail. I got new T Rudder pedals. I'm using latest Config v0.92.33 software and latest firmware for VKB NXT R +THQ XT2 v. 2.115 and TRudder XT2 v. 2.115.
Config software does not show Find&Config button. External devices Tab shows Generic device instead of T Rudder as in my attachment picture.

By trial and error I found the solution. My stick is the R -version, and to reset it I needed to press F1 and F2 button and plug in. That's all. It looks like the issue might be the usb connector in the NXT base. I moved the usb cord to and fro, and the leds went on and off.
