thanks to vkb support sending me a new spring i was able to install it and resolve this issue

Yeah but how do i get to the assembly?

It's behind a circuit board. And it doesn't seem to be easily removable

Nor can I find any videos or threads anywhere on fixing this issue or even getting to the trigger assembly

i have an mcg pro twist on a gunfighter mk III base and the flip trigger has lost its resistance it flips up but when its flipped down its as if it has no spring behind it i opened it up but couldn't get at the mechanism because of the circuit board in the way and my over-abundance of caution. heres...
