Updated per your direction - worked for 1 but still not registering y-axis back:

Followed your recommendation. Screenshot after updating firmware and recalibrating. The stick is still not recognizing the yaxis movement - which is why it's not calibrating / updating the values after calibration. I have a ticket open - hoping I can get more help or a replacement.
