Re: Coming from MCGU, setting up LH Kosmosima is different
haha thanks. I think I’m going with the 2nd version and adjusting the throttle range. I suppose the worst that can happen is I wear out my dust cover. that twist is still way different compared to the MCGU though. Definitely not preferred. I may just lock it down. Or turn it sidewise and use as a mo...

Coming from MCGU, setting up LH Kosmosima is different
Are there supposed to be two different “tucking” variations for the rubber dust cover? It seems if I set it up one way the rubber slows down the twist rubbing up against the bottom. The twist is already slower compared to the MCGU twist and the rubber slows it down further. If I set up the rubber th...

Re: Friction on bearings of new Gunfighter
Okay thanks. Yeah I think my brain is comparing the feel of the metal in my right hand Vs the plastic on my left. After I got the cover on the noise was gone. I don’t think it’s a problem now that I’ve got it set up. The bigger issue is... how about a left handed metal grip 8) !? Thanks as always fo...

Friction on bearings of new Gunfighter
Just received my SCG and noticed my Gunfighter has a bit of a friction issue, in one direction on each axis, the X being the loudest. I triple checked my cams and screws and tried with and without pressure from the dampeners. It almost feels like it’s coming from the inside of the bearing. It doesn’...

Is powered necessary for a USB - C hub?
Looking to buy a USB-C Hub. I have an MCGU and a Kosmosima.
It appears USB-C can transfer a lot of power so I’m wondering if a powered hub is even necessary? Any recommendations on a hub for this setup?
Also, what are the power requirements for two Gunfighter MkIII’s and the two different grips?

Re: VKB Configurator - How can I assign Twist (Z axis) to keyboard Shift key?
My fault, I should've mentioned. You could adjust the Hysteresis to modify the position of the actuation. If it's not enough, then you could shrink that axis by setting up larger DzHi in Profile/Axes/Logical Axes. Just wanted to stop in again for a final report. I was able to fine tune the twist us...

Re: VKB Configurator - How can I assign Twist (Z axis) to keyboard Shift key?
LMAO No, it wasn’t! Just tried it on Classic. Works like a charm  . I didn’t realize the green button lights didn’t need to light up, now the routing (keyboard vs buttons vs other) makes total sense. Thank you for your efforts. One final question, Is there any way to adjust the point that “Shif...

Sure thing. I'm having issues adding more than 3 pictures in this forum, so I need to split this up into multiple replies A2B seems to be okay: VKB Configurator 1.png If I don't Assign a Keyboard key, the buttons trigger when I twist as expected: VKB Configurator No Shift works.png VKB Configurator ...

Re: VKB Configurator - How can I assign Twist (Z axis) to keyboard Shift key?
Okay so substituting 41 and 42 for 33 and 34 in your example, I’m able to set it up, but if I go to the buttons Test tab, nothing lights up when I Twist. If I don’t use 42 and just do 41, I’m able to successfully map it to Twist but only inward Twist. An inward Twist lights up the button 42 Is an ou...

Re: VKB Configurator - How can I assign Twist (Z axis) to keyboard Shift key?
HA! I was so close. I literally figured this out on my own but I was choosing #3 instead of #7! I have an MCGU. I was thinking it was 3 because X Y Z. When it didn’t work I thought I was doing something wrong. And yes agreed I definitely did not want to mess with any axes other than the twist. In Sq...

VKB Configurator - How can I assign Twist (Z axis) to keyboard Shift key?
I’m setting up bindings for Star Wars Squadrons and the game has a binding for “Drift (While boosting)” that doesn’t work correctly with sticks. From researching it’s a known issue they never fixed. On the keyboard it’s mapped to the Shift key. What I’d like to do is assign the Shift key (Drift Whil...
