Hello, I use the (lower) center button frequently as the aircraft trim and lately it has been developing a grinding noise as if there was more friction. I'd like to lubricate it but am wary of screwing something up. Is there a relatively easy way to get to this hat switch and apply a couple of drops...

Same thing happened to me in addition to the three hex screws backing out of the base (and the handle disconnectibg frim the base). I just wrapped the yellow wire, lightly soldered it, and then wrapoed the ribbon cable with a touch of electrical tape. Used some loctite on the screws and works like n...
