Old thread, but the problem has started annoying me enough to look into it again, the problem is definitely with the dust cover (that's what the grey thing is above the screws for the stick?), whenever the stick contacts the dust cover, the click happens and the weird feedback. https://streamable.co...

If I move the stick slowly, the noise and "detent" feeling on the stick are not there, but if I move it quickly the feedback is apparent

Yes, there's a little bit of space for me to move the stick where the dust cover does not move with it, that's normal right? I opened up and thought it was a bit of plastic/glue stuck under the Y axis spring, or the Y axis spring itself, but I replaced the Y axis spring and removed a little bit of t...

Tried leaving the screws tight, tried tightening them halfway, pushed the stick in as much as I could, no joy

Gladiator NXT, X-Y axis clicking
I have used mine about 10-20 hours, and recently it has developed a clicking noise whenever I move the stick, most noticeably when I pull on it. I opened up the base and found an excess of plastic/glue under my Y axis spring, I removed some of it but this did not change anything.
