Re: Gunfighter MkIII + 100 mm extension issues
Great, thanks, I'll see how it goes with the modifications, and raise a ticket, as you suggest, if needed. Unfortunately I am pretty sure that the mechanical support from the fastener is simply not enough, if the stick and extension are not correctly in physical contact. I have already tightened the...

Gunfighter MkIII + 100 mm extension issues
After more than 2 years of use, this combo now regularly loses electrical contact (red flashing light on the BB). It is most likely because the extension does not fit properly with the bottom of the MCG grip. In the image below, the extension is pressed right up inside the stick, and the pogo pins a...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
..... On the other hand, I kind of get the feeling that VKB is a bit of a hobby project for some talented engineers Could you explain? Sure. Based on the likely BOM and material costs, I think the margins are not super high, but enough to run a pretty good business. VKB don't appear to cut corners ...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
[sigh] If TECS is dead in the water in any regard, it'll either be because: ⋅ VKB have run out of money to finish the development/set up a new production line/pay their staff ⋅ VKB have hit a problem with the electronic detent that they just can't get round, it's just not workin...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
I can assure you he didn't had any intention to insult anyone. He was just tryin to make a comparison to similar companies when it comes to launching their products. adequate companies, when announcing a device, are ALWAYS telling customers when to expect it This is simply not true. As a game devel...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
Here's a thought: Gunfighter is already at Mk.III, the T-rudder is ak Mk.IV, and the improvements are not insignificant (though not fundamental either, GF at least is upgradeable). So it may be worth tempering your enthusiasm for a Mk.1 product, no matter how long it takes to show up. Not that I do...

Re: Any news on VKB throttle?
My throttle is also getting a bit senile and janky in its old age (actually unplayable in some cases).
Edit: means if I'm struggling along with this thing for years I can wait a bit longer

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
Believe me, I have done all of this: design iteration after design iteration, prototyping testing, DFM, EVT, DVT, MVT, dealing with contract manufacturers, process setup and verification, qualification, dearling with a CM who just can't seem to do the darm thing like you want. Drawing errors, materi...
