Re: Axis mode switching and other silliness
I think I'm in the right place i don't want to do anything as drastic as the orginal poster but I do want to use the existing primary set of axis x/y in conjucton with shift 1 in order to control two sticks in a aircraft. I have a shift1 established that current currently creates a second virtual bu...

Re: remapping F1-F3 effects hat buttons
It is not immediately clear to be why F1-3 are associated with the central hat... but it doesn't matter because the DCS program doesn't see the physical buttons per se but the outputs of presses of them. There is snowball effect where if I reprogram the F keys I am in fact also reprogramming some of...

Re: remapping F1-F3 effects hat buttons
Well, I got the firmware and software sorted. I went through the physical and logic layers of the buttons and hovered over them... only then did I find out that F1-3 are not buttons 27-29 but are instead 5-7 but registered as 28 etc when you pressed them. the actual button 28 etc are for physical bu...

remapping F1-F3 effects hat buttons
Ive gone from default setting to changing the F buttons atop my left handed gladiator nxt premium. these are the only changes i have made but this has resulted in odd results when written into the device. I remapped the F keys as ButAlts so that they could be used to hold open like a toggle the airb...

Re: input on hat activates two buttons intermittently
this seems to have worked. Does it matter where you press default? I think I might have been on the button/ pov tab before. It worked, and then when I wrote the changes i wanted into the stick, the errors previously listed returned. I changed buttons f1 f2 and f3 into toggle switches so I could use ...

Re: input on hat activates two buttons intermittently
I went back and recalibrated and reset one or two the buttons. But that was after I reset it to default. For a while there after the issue did not manifest in the config software (using the button logger at least) and I went back to using DCS and I noticed the issue again.

Re: input on hat activates two buttons intermittently
I did as instructed and while in the config program it seemed to work. But, when i got back to DCS and started messing around in the yak trainer I discovered a greater issue. While config program sees inputs from buttons 14 and 15; 12 still jumps back to 23 and pressing up and down with 11 and 13 no...

input on hat activates two buttons intermittently
I'm using the CFG configuration software not wizzo to try to trouble shoot my gladiator premium left. The hat switch that is 5 way including the center push that is to the left of the 8 way mini joystick with the mode switch... well the hat switch is acting uniformly in all activations except when o...

Re: gladiator L throttle axis absolute zero reset
Unchecking the Cn box seems to have moved the zero setting to the physical max limit of the throttle. I tried checking the R box to reverse this but it does not seem to have any effect.

gladiator L throttle axis absolute zero reset
This is probably very basic but I've not messed with a joystick of this level of customization. my last one was sidewinder II in like 1998. my throttle or Z axis always is centered and has a zero value when at the mid point of its travel. this allows me only half of the full travel to actually advan...

gladiator nxt pro pov ministick axis?
So far as I can tell, the ministick is just being read as 9 or so individual buttons in Microsoft flight simulator 2020. I cant find a axis option. In DCS i have not really had to mess with it.. it just worked out of the box. I'm wondering now if I set the controller up wrong or if MSFS 2020 just do...

New owner , issues out of box? gladiator nxt L pro
I have assumed the stick to the point that calibration can begin. However I noticed two issues during assembly that have me scratching my head . Near the bottom of the grip on the rear there appears to be a screw hole. The instructions do not mention this and there does not seem to be a screw provid...
