Re: MCG Pro - MANVR hat stopped working

Yes, tried "Default" and recalibration several times. Button press "down" and "center-push" both register as button 18 in the default configuration, and only do so intermittently. The others are even more useless. This is highly certainly a hardware issue. Is that hat s...

Re: Gunfighter mk1x-axis problem!

I had this on my Mk1 and it went away with the Mk3 upgrade kit. Thought I should mention so you would at least be reassured by that. :)

Re: MCG Left handed or SCG with Brake lever

Personally I would love to see those *features*, but I do not think it needs to be (or should be) the mirror image of the MCG-Right. Rather than repeating how the competition looks at the off-hand stick, they can be creative. They know it is for space, and they know their SCG is only a mid-range sti...

MCG Pro - MANVR hat stopped working

As the title says, the lower-central hat on my MCG Pro has stopped working. It gives no input in three directions, and only intermittent input towards buttons 16 and 18 in the default configuration (down and push). I tried updating to latest firmware; reseating the grip and the extension; as well as...

Has the new KG12 arrived with the latest batch by any chance? Should we expect it in the store in the next few days? Thanks, it helps us consolidate orders.

Re: NXT stand-alone modules to Black Box cable

ah, thanks for confirming though. would that release together with the other announced NXT module accessories, primarily the WWII grip? I'm hoping to consolidate a single larger order and thus this info can help in times of great shipping costs.

NXT stand-alone modules to Black Box cable

Hi there, Any news or updates on the NXT stand-alone modules to Black Box cable, is this still planned? In my setup I have two Black Boxes with lots of spare axes/buttons to control, and an extra Orange Box from the old days somewhere too. And from that perspective I am waiting on the NXT modules to...

Re: VKB WWII Setup Marching In

Well done, I am most excited about the prospect of more silent switches and better industrial plastic -- the old KG12 was a disappointing experience when I first tried it in terms of the general "thumpiness" of the buttons and how hollow it made the whole grip feel. Nonetheless, it was alw...

Re: VKB T Rudder Mk. IV different tension between left and right sides

There does not appear to be a software solution to the necessary input pressure, and the difference in feel between the left and right pedal. As a strong-spring user on my T-Rudders, I would sincerely appreciate a better balanced cam from VKB.

Re: GF Mk.I - Red LED on the base PCB - how to check if the upgrade kit would work

Ron, you inspired me to use contact cleaner (isopropyl alchohol) on the base and grip connectors. Everything works perfectly now. Also the problem of ghosting/errant input, which is why I opened the base in the first place. I hope it was just a poorly seated cable on the X axis or some metal dust. W...

Re: GF Mk.I - Red LED on the base PCB - how to check if the upgrade kit would work

Thank you for clarifying that the red LED is just voltage, not necessarily error.

So the problem more clearly: there is no axis movement in VKBDevCfg, including base axes (X and Y).

GF Mk.I - Red LED on the base PCB - how to check if the upgrade kit would work

I am getting a red LED light inside the Gunfighter Mk.I base when it is connected to the BlackBox/power. This is with and without the grip attached (I tried the MCG, SCG and the KG12 grips). This happened as I reassembled the base, after having significant ghosting and calibration problems on one ha...

Re: Grip connector replacement - red light blinking/no buttons or axis movement (updated with tech support list)

Just to confirm here that this issue has been solved in the correct pinout in this case which was black-red-yellow (top to bottom). Grip works as normal now.

Re: Grip connector replacement - red light blinking/no buttons or axis movement (updated with tech support list)

I hope these snapshots of global-ext and ext-devices in VKB Cfg help get a response :)

(I've updated the firmware and software since the first post 10 days ago, no luck).
