Re: VKB-Link guide: Using VKB-Link to set up a bi-directional SHIFT state
⋅ Assuming everything has been set up correctly and with VKB-Link running, the pinky button on EVO SCG L and the ring finger button on MCGU should now activate SHIFT 1 state in both EVO SCG L and MCGU. ⋅ You can check this by going to the Test tab of VKBDevCfg. ⋅ If ev...

VKB-Link guide: Using VKB-Link to set up a bi-directional SHIFT state
With VKB-Link, button register(s) from one device can be shared with another device. Using this feature, we can set up a bi-directional SHIFT state. In this example, we will use the pinky button on EVO SCG L as a SHIFT button and the ring finger button on MCGU as a SHIFT button. First, we need to se...

Using VKB-Link/Z-Link to mimic the T-Link virtual brake behavior.
This issue has been resolved with T-Link v0.78 and firmware v2.179 and later. With T-Link not working with current firmware and T-Rudders MkV, here's a work-around using VKB-Link to mimic the T-Link virtual brakes. In this work-around, we will be using a SHIFT state to activate virtual brakes. &sdo...

VKB-Link/Z-Link guide: Sending SHIFT state from one VKB device to another
Here's a guide to setting up VKB-Link or Z-Link, which will let you send SHIFT state from one VKB device to another. *VKB-Link is the current version of the software and if your devices don't show up on Z-Link, use VKB-Link instead. Re: Bad inputs in Unity input debugger
This is a Unity thing, and it happens with Unreal engine games too, IIRC. I've had joystick, throttle, etc. from VKB, TM, and CH causing issues in some games with having them just plugged in. My solution for this was to get a USB hub with individually switched ports so I can "unplug" joyst...

Re: How to setup T rudder Mk5 with Gladiator MK2?
In the front (the side away from you) of the Gladiator Mk2 base, there should be a port that looks like an Ethernet port labeled "PEDALS." You connect the T-Rudders into that port using the ethernet cable that came with your T-Rudders. Once connected, pedals will function as the 7th axis f...

Re: Changing Virtual Device Names in Dev Config
Unless things have changed, you can't really pick which buttons to move to a virtual device unless you manually modify button number assignment. Whatever button numbers above the limit you've set in the Global/Common tab will be moved to the next virtual device. Example: You've set the button limit ...

Re: T-rudder Pedals with MCG Twist
If you are running current firmware, you can move an axis to a second virtual device, allowing you keep all of the axes. Current firmware and VKBDevCfg - https://vkbcontrollers.com/?page_id=4609 The following is with MCGU, but the process is the same with MCGP. This will move the twist axis onto a s...
