Re: Gunfighter MK III base and condensation?
I have a feeling your query was part of the inspiration for this year's April joke.

Re: Base won't screw into baseplate
I know this is not what you'd want to hear: but perhaps it would be quicker for you to tap some threads in to it - it's soft aluminium so even a cheap tap will do.

Re: T.Rudder MkIV, axes connectors on board
Yup that's the board I mean, not the blackbox. Thanks for the reply!
I assume the D-Mars is a proprietary sensor? Because the only thing I seem to find online is a bunch of Israelis LARPing as Mars colonists.

Re: 'Grating'/friction on the roll axis
Two things to check:
1. the cable isn't rubbing inside the base - it moves around more on the X axis
2. the magnet hasn't picked up something like a washer and is rubbing it against the sensor

Re: Gunfighter MK III base and condensation?
Can't be of much help but I have to say that it's not often one reads a story involving expensive peripherals, a sweaty crotch and a cleaning lady in a tech support forum.

T.Rudder MkIV, axes connectors on board
The other day I was cleaning up my rudder pedal set and out of curiosity opened up the box that contains its board and to my surprise I noticed there's two sockets labeled as axes connectors on it. They seem to be traced properly but are those actually polled? If so what could one connect there to u...

Re: kg12 new grip
So, seeing as these are now in stock - would there be any reason this would not be compatible with a Gladiator K base? Its got the same contacts as the Gunfighter bases but it's not explicitly mentioned in the product page. From what I see in the latest firmware batch there's just a KG12 firmware re...

I guess this didn't pan out finally. Pity, looks like a nice grip.

Re: vkb T-Rudder Tension
For it to stay put it needs some sort of friction - there is no way to do it without modification. Two approaches I've seen are:

Re: Gladiator NXT suddenly stopped working
Following up on this thread after a few months of usage: I've not had this issue with my Gladiator K ever since I cleaned the contacts and re-seated the grip. It was the only thing that stood out of the things I've done so far; I was pointed to it by the fact that I was seeing very high error counts...

Re: Gladiator K Dead
Get USBDeview (https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html) and see if when you plug in the K it shows up as an unrecognized device. If so then uninstall all the similar entries and reconnect. If that doesn't cut it then try: a. re-seating the grip - I kept getting odd connection behaviour a...

Re: Gladiator NXT suddenly stopped working
Thanks! Stupidly I forgot to mention a crucial bit of info! I also tried it on 3 different PCs (2 desktops and 1 laptop, so completely different chipsets and USB controllers) at the time this was happening and it would exhibit the same result. Come to think of it I've also changed motherboard on my ...

Re: Gladiator NXT suddenly stopped working
I've had this occur with a Gladiator K many times and seemingly randomly. One day working fine, then next day plug it in only to get "unknown descriptor" - things I tried: 1. reboot 2. using all USB ports on the m/b 3. using ports on a powered USB hub (this is where I usually connect it) 4...
